"Oh yes, okay Junketsu time for up." PJ gently picked Junketsu up so she was now sitting on the table, PJ's hands was on her back holding her up so she would not fall back.

The entire time, Kellen had been warming the business end of the stethoscope in his palm, so it wasn't cold when he used it.
"Ok, Junketsu, I'm just going to listen to you breathe. It's not going to hurt one little bit."
He smiled, and put the stethoscope's ear pieces in, and rested the chestpiece against her back, listening to her lungs as she breathed.

Junketsu seemed oky, no tears as of yet. The stethoscope didn't hurt, so she was pretty content. The whold thing seemed to be going by so quickly and painlessly.

He nodded to himself, and moved the stethoscope to her front, to listen to her heart for a few moments.
"She sounds completely healthy and strong. A slightly murmur, but that's common in infants, and should go away as she ages."
He smiles, and wraps the stethoscope back around his neck.
"Can you lay her back, please?"

"A murmur? That doesn't sound to good, but as long as it goes away she should be okay right? And yeah sure." PJ layed Junketsu back down, Junketsu seemed very confused. What on Earth were they doing to her now?

He reached down, and prodded her abdomen a little, feeling for the right organs in the right places. They were all there, and in the right spots. Good.
"You're doing great, Junketsu."
He smiles, and brings out his penlight, checking her eyes.

PJ just sat back watching, Junketsu was doing very well for her first time.
Junketsu apon being poked giggled a bit and squirmed around. When the light was put in her eyes she squinted a bit, however it wasn't a very strong light. So no harm was done.

All that was left to do was ears and immunization. This had been a remarkably short exam, - which was a relief to Kel. He drew out an otoscope from the drawer under this counter, and peeked into her ears with a cap on the instrument the size right for infants. He discarded that cap, and put on another one, peeking into her nostrils. Everything looked good.
"That's just about it, but now I need to get her shot ready."
He smiled, and reached a drawer lower to get a new pair of gloves [he'd had them on], and snapped the other ones off to put on the new ones. He retrieved a medicated pad, opened it, and swabbed her arm with it lightly. That spot would be completely numb in a few moments. He went out of the room to get the immunization tray.

Junketsu was so confused, everyone was moving so fast. She just had something in her ear and up her nose And now her arm was given cold wet stuff. What was all this? "Dun?"

He came back momentarily with the shot, and injected the Milk girl so quickly that she probably didn't even realize it happened. He offered a smile to PJ and Junketsu both.
"And that's it! You were a very good girl, Junketsu. Very good."
He ruffled her hair softly, and walked over to grab four cookies, and hand them to PJ.
"You've both deserved these. Come back in about a month. I want to check on that murmur. But for now, you two are good to go."

Indeed Junketsu had not at all noticed the shot, however she did notice the cookies, and tried to grab at them.
"No, not now Junketsu, you need lunch first then you can have the cookie." PJ turned to the doctor "Thank you very much, and we'll come back in a month. Bye bye" PJ picked Junketsu up and carried her out the door.
