"Yeah. Doesn't help that we can't read..." Kujaku looked at the strip. "Eh," she shrugged, "it's okay, but a bit too.....fluffly." She didn't like fluffy things. Unless it was-

"Nice trick!" Dua laughed, reaching out a hand. Nova watched for a second, then dismissed it; the child wasn't likely to blow anything up quite like that.

Karael grinned at the child. "Thanks." She flicked her hand and had the samples flying one after another in a snaking formation around the gathered people. "I've been practicing with it for ages."
"Can't read? Yes, that would be troublesome," Nieva said, putting the mint green sample back and pulling out a light blue. "This better?"

Genevieve moved down the aisles, brow furrowed in concentration and bottom lip captured within her top teeth. The black? No...perhaps the lavender... With each thought, another paint sample was plucked from the shelves and then hastily placed back. It seemed that the woman was having no luck with the repainting that she was planning. She was pregnant, though not overly far along. She was a petite woman, however, which caused her stomach to bulge out a little farther than necessary. Powder blue? she now wondered, pausing in her steps to pluck a light blue sample and look it over, ignoring the other nearby the same color sample. She wasn't one to socialize in a place like this unless approached first.

"It really is...." Kujaku looked at the blue and thought for a bit. "What's a better base color, white or black?" She turned around to see another woman behind her. "You paintin' your new kid's room too? How whacked..."

Karael spied the new woman moving along the shelves of paint samples. Tilting her horned head to one side, she slipped up beside Nieva, watchign the woman take a paint sample out and put it back before taking another. After shaking her head at Nieva to indicate that no, she did not want light blue paint, she took a step toward the unfamiliar woman. "I'm guessing you're attempting to repaint as well. Join the club. We're all trying to figure out what colors to use," she said with a slight sigh. "And it's frustrating us."
Nieva rolled her eyes at Kari. Stupid sister. "I think white is a better base color for this shade of blue. Now, if it was a master bedroom, then I'd say go with black, light blue, and silver. Good color combinations. For a kid's room, white is probably the better bet."

Genevieve glanced over at the others with a soft gasp, a bit startled that the others had actually approached her. She paused, mouth still slightly agape, to listen to what they had to say before she spoke. "A bit ironic, I think." were her only words at first as she took a soft, pastel shade of green to now examine. She tilted her head a little to the right before nodding slightly and lifting a hand to continue trailing her hand along the samples. "Are we all looking to paint a child's room?"

Evelon looks aorudn the Hardwear store. "hmmmmmmmmm. midnight blue? or mabey a black." looks among the colors. "or mabey sea green will be nice. or just make it look like the ocean itself or the night sky."
