Okay, this is really weird... I was just on vacation in San Diego, CA. I was on the beach wearing my board shorts and some aviator sunglasses, and two guys with big, long beards and long hair came up to me and asked me if I was Jim Morrison... I told them I wasn't Jim, just a fan of his work. They just kind of stared at me for a moment longer and then walked away... It was kind of weird and I suspect that they were on something, but I just thought I'd share.

Yes, finally, a Doors thread, they are my fav. band!!!! So far I own the first 6 albums:
The Doors
Strange Days
Waiting For The Sun
The Soft Parade <---- fav, album right now
Morrison Hotel
L.A. Woman
Although they are all glorious, I also own Absolutly Live and a few Greatest Hits albums, and I've read 3 Morrison bios.....
anywho, they are ******** awesome and I'm pretty ********' happy to be in a band that covers a couple of their songs: Runnin' Blue, Light My fire, break on through, and I wanna get them to let me do A little Game the next time we do a show

i really love the doors...i really love them
they change my world
i have most of their cds...
i really like they live preformance
is more energetic
like
whisky, mystic and men
ornage county
van morrison cover,gloria....
i have read almost everything of aldous huxley,william blake and rimbaud because of morrison i want to understand him
to feel like one with his poetry, beacuse, after all, he was a poet.
and for the others memebers i also appreciate them,the doors wouldn't be the same if (exp.) densmore wasn't the drummer...they were the perfect combination................with little problems,like everything in this world.......

But anyways
