Ok. My book is going to have the characters be psychic. So at the beginning I will introduce most concepts of Psiconics. I want to make sure I have it all straight. I'll be posting it later this week.

Well, even though you haven't posted it yet, I have some general recommendations. You can create the system any way you want, but it needs to have the following qualities or else the stories won't flow well from it
1) Internal Consistency. The elements of the system must not be in blatant contradiction with one another. Where there is a contradiction, this must in some way be explained.
2) Believability. Some of this happens in the mind of your reader, so you have limited control over it, but internal consistency adds to this factor. So does being careful that your characters who have weak psionic powers don't suddenly get Godly for no explained reason.
3) Originality. The psionics humdrum has been done before. Try to add something special to it, though I suppose some don't mind the same old formulas. I guess this is just a personal preference for creating a good magic system of any sort for a novel setting.
