Freak Tent Located north east of the main tent, and in between the performers and animal tent, is the Freak tent. This one’s canvas is a royal blue color with a red flag that is tattered and stiff in some places. A picketed sign gives times for when this tent is open. Inside is quite a gruesome scene. Animals and people sit in either cages, chains, or free if they are permitted. Deformities from birth, spells, or accidents are what make them, them and here they are “shown off” by the circus master. Those who take up residence in this tent care for themselves and their neighbors on their own. One case of this is that of the “Ugliest Man Alive” who is taken care of by his wife who lingers in the background until closing time. All are allowed in here, but be weary of your limbs and selves.

Slinking through the grass, unheard paws, a dark blur, Kaida curiously ran around the grounds. Tents had been set up, she had been lurking around the mishap HQ for a while now. always looking from the shadows of the forbiden forest. Now there were tents being set up and a comotion stirred the life around the HQ. Being the cat she was, Kaida grew curious, and now lurks in the tents. The first tent that cought her attention was the, maybe it was the red flag, but she scurried to to the tent.
Inspecting the surroundings, to make sure no one was arround. Her ears alert to every noise that was around. Seeing no one was around She looked back at the forest from which she came, "Abby.. It's safe, come here." She sent a low call to her friend. This call was a low growling and a meow, that could only be picked up by those with sensitive ears.
At the call, a neon colored wild dog ran out from the forest, her tail low, and ears down. The timid dog made a quick dart for her cat companion. She stop and crouched low to the ground hope she hane not been seen.

Slinking around the tent, Kaida sniffed around, but her nose wasn't as senitive as her kanine companion. "Abby, sniff around and try to find us an enterence into to this contraption." she ordered and kept a lookout incase someone came along and discovered them.
The off-colored wild dog gave a nod to the demonic cat and began sniffing around the tent. She went over and over in the same spots that she found to be the most scented. Pawwing at the canvas side, with a whimper Abby nottified Kaida of a small tare that she had made with her warnout claws.
"Alright watchout, I'll get us into this thing." Kaida huffed and contracted her claws on her right paw, sliting the tear and widening it. She made it big enough for herself to fit through, then slid herself in silently. Abby tried the same but the tear was to small for her and she got stuck. She struggled to get through but paniced and started whimpering and whining. Abby's sudden burst of panic made Kaida nervous and she quickly darted under the nearest cage.

"Erishi does not like this place, no no no." Erishi muttered, eyes half closed and arms wrapped tightly around herself. She looked from one cage to the next, blinking.
"People don't belong in cages, no no." She said quietly, blinking.

There was a shifting movement in one of the cages, and a hideous creature that resembled something vaguely human glared out. It took one look at the unwelcome visitor and hissed something in a foreign language, turning its misshapen back to her and nestling in another corner of its cage.
All was silent again as the caged and the chained unfortunates stared at Erishi balefully, then cast their eyes down again.
Julian, feeling the urge to explore a bit, entered the tent soon after. He'd thought it would be another animal tent, and recoiled slightly at what he saw. He was about to leave when he noticed...
"Erishi!"

"Erishi is sorry." She said, eyes cast low. "Erishi wishes she can help."
She probably could, but it just wouldn't do to get people who could use hocus-pocus mad at her. Bad stuff allways happens when you make people mad who could hurl fireballs.
She jumped when someone said her name. Turning, she blinked at Julian with wide eyes. "Ah!" She carefully walked over to him, making sure not to get anything straw-like on herself and grabbed him by the hand. "Julian! Hello!"
Now, at least, she had some backup in case anything in cages decided that they wanted her to be in a cage. Nope, nope.

Julian had to forcibly restrain himself from hugging her out of sheer relief.
"Gods! I thought you were...where'd you...mmph. Nevermind. I'm just glad to see you," he said, holding on to her hand as though certain she was going to disappear again. "Are you alright? Did you...did you find Shammi again?"

"Do not worry, Julian. Erishi is tough. She won't crawl off somewhere and die." Crawl off somewhere and dredge up an a*****e, that she would do. But not crawl off and die. That would be boring.
"No... Shammi is still in a bad place. They moved the bad place. It's not where Erishi was when Erishi was in the bad place." Her face darkened, but lit up a moment later. "But I think something bad happened to the bad bird who stold her!"
'Bad' as in Erishi had coughed up black feathers the other night after blacking out in the woods with him. She was slightly bothered by that fact.

"Oh...that's good. The bird suffering, I mean. Karma." Julian said, still looking concerned. "Erishi...where'd you go? I mean...if you don't mind me asking."
He paused, thinking.
"I still have your rib. Len wants to make it a boomerang. I figured I might wanna, y'know, offer it back."

"Yeah. Feathers hurt when they come out of your nose."
"Ummm. Went to Master's. He's around somewhere. He's kinda little and angry and red headed, so don't poke him with sticks. Master put my hand back in. There was lots of blood." She shrugged, tilting her head to one side. "You were a nicer doctor than him. Thank you for helping Erishi." Giving a grin, she hugged him.
"Oh! Ribby! Erishi forgot about Ribby! Yes, yes!" Erishi nodded several times. "Erishi would like ribby back. Tell Len if she wants a ribbyrang, she can make one out of her own ribby."

"Oh, hey, you're wel-oh!" Julian cut himself off at the unexpected hug, and returned it willingly. "You're welcome. Any time you need help, c'mon and find me."
He grinned then, trying not to laugh.
"It's safe, I distracted her with a chicken skull," he said, rather proud of his improvisation. "She'll...hell. She'll probably go and cut one out of some innocent bystander anyway."
There was a rough, rattling cough from one of the cages that caught his attention briefly, and he forced his focus back on Erishi. He was pretty aware that everyone in the tent was watching...

"Erishi would not want to be a bother. But, if bad things happen when Erishi gets Shammi, make sure Master doesn't hurt her. He's mean." She gave him a very serious nod.
"Len is such a little angel." Her smile was more than a little lucid. "Ribbyrangs do sound like fun.
Looking around at the cages, Erishi's face turned serious. Really, truly, serious. "Erishi feels bad for people in cages. She-" Here her face twitched and scrunched up- "I was never fond of them, myself."

Julian scowled, then nodded.
"If anyone gives you crap, you tell me. I'll keep you safe," he said. He was far too fond of Erishi to let anyone hurt her and get away with it.
At her words, he glanced 'round the tent again warily.
"No...no one should be locked up," he said, looking sad. "Not for something like this. Not for entertainment."
He eyed the corner where the cough had come from, catching sight of a fairly large, misshapen thing with its back to them. He shook his head slightly.
"It's not fair," he added dully.
