I wasn't an avid Stargate watcher (wasn't my cup of tea), but did catch a couple of episodes every now and then. When I did watch it the episodes were above average at best. I'll sign the pettion just to see what happens. And no offence meant Sepik

Ten seasons is amazingly long. Though I'm not sure what they mean by "record-breaking"... after all, Doctor Who was on for 26 consecutive seasons.

SG:Atlantis is still around, so I imagine they'll periodically have SG-1 regulars popping into SG:A somehow. Or maybe even have some of the more popular characters transfer over to the other show as permanent cast members. Like when the Klingon guy from ST:TNG showed up on ST biggrin S9 and started making out with the tapeworm girl.

I won't sign. And I'll tell you why. I love the show.
Stargate SG1 has been going downhill lately. The writers don't seem to care anymore. The producers don't give it enough of the budget aloted to the two shows. Its Blatently obvious that atlantis is getting all the money and all the good writers. So if I sign that petition.. I won't be helping to save Stargate.. I'll be helping it die more slowly. As long as they resolve something when they end it I'll be happy about the show ending.

Well you have to think of it this way. The show is still funny and good but now that Jacks gone its sortive going down hill. I like The New Guy but still I Miss Jack. At least he will be comming back in season 10 for accouple of episodes. Aperntly Sam and Him are Getting marryed in the last episode.
