so my friend got a new Dye Throttle HPA tank the other day. I when with him and after he had bought it the cashier told him it was a "preset" tank. he asked me what it meant and i couldnt really explain it to him. could someone give me a simple definition on what a preset tank is?

A preset tank is a preset pressure... For example a HP tank's preset is about 850 PSI and as for a LP tank's preset is about 450 PSI. The pressures can not be adjusted and thats why they are called preset becuase the regulators on the tank are set at that pressure.
For an adjustable tank you can change the pressure to any desired pressure.

its reffering to the pressure, its preset to high, or low pressure, adjustable tanks can be adjusts to either high or low pressures.
