Question for you, when you listen to Linkin Park, and if being your favorite band ever. Do you ever think sometimes that if you listen to something else, you think you might be betraying Linkin Park? So which means all you listen to is Linkin Park, and maybe Fort Minor?


Or, do you listen to Linkin Park, and Fort Minor all the time because they sound to good to listen to anything else, and you want to either, sing, play gautar, bass, or drums just like that. And that you find one of that Members of the band your hero?


Or, do you listen to it because you want to change it around, and mess with the beats, and make them sound different. Hoping the band has a great rythm, and what not, you could possibly become in music professonaly?

I accually listen to Linkin Park, and Fort Minor for all the reasons I put down. I may think I may be betraying Linkin Park, but I find the singing so different, and that I have made Chester my hero. I also think that beats, and rythm, and what not are way to different, maybe I can mess around with it, and become something noticed.

Why do you listen to Linkin Park, and make it detailed.

I listen to Linkin Park because I really love their music. I also like them because they're one of the few artists with rap songs that aren't about pimps, hoes, and how I'mma pop a cap in yo' a** *****! I like rap but most rap artists out there have lyrics which I don't like, which is a shame. (I'm in no way against the swearing, but sexist/racist/homophobic/whatever-ist comments annoy me) Just the overal music genre hybrid is what I love the most about LP. The songs are just... Awesome, lol. blaugh

I use to listen to LP pretty much exclusively because I felt I was somehow betraying them if I listened to much else, but I like to think I've loosened up some; I now listen to two bands exclusively!!!

Just kidding. I don't listen to a huge variety of bands in the first place, so it just so happens that the majority of what I listen to is made of Linkin Park and Green Day - probably my second favourite after LP. They're the two bands which don't have and songs that I don't like. [Eep, double negatives!] After that, I don't really have favourite bands, just songs which I like.
I hope this makes sense - I'm having trouble articulating what I mean. rolleyes

I'd agree with whole rap thing, that's one of that values Linkin Park will hold, and I am hoping they never turn to that evil side, and I hope they never grow more into a rock band either, because more rocking bands scare me.

Linkin Park, Fort Minor, Grey Daze is the only basically music I listen to. Other artists just don'tahave as much talent as Linkin Park. Noone can touch them, noone. Thier just Linkin Park. They keep true to themselves.

Dude their music, I don't know in what posistion [sp] I would be right now withouth them. All and any song done by them, soothes me. No other band/artist can do that. I simply pop a LP song onto my media player in a matter of secomds the problems out of my mind and I'm singing along with Mike and Chester. No other band comes to their kind of talent. respect and look up to them for that. Their an insperation to me.

I'v been listening to their material since Breaking The Habit to be honest, and that was in o4', neh? Usually I'd drop interest in anything in a matter of weeks, with them no. Never. :3 I could never feel as if I'm betraying them. They've got this sound, you can't put it into really any gengre. Their not another rock group. Not another bunch of kids that sing and rap. Thier Linkin Park.

I have been listening to Linkin Park since 'Breaking The Habit' as well, and that song made me want to know more. And your right, they're nothing like anybody else, and I like that.

i listen to LP because their awesome screaming heart calms me when im mad, 'specially at my parents. i soooooo am not betraying LP when i listen 2 other things...it depends on my mood. i also think that other bands have something different from LP that makes me want to listen to it rather than LP. still, no, im not betraying Linkin Park

No, actually, I don't. I listen to TONNES of other bands, but I know LP is my favorite and I'm more in touch with them, so that satifies me. 'sall good.

Well, I am actually a huge fan of the All-American Rejects, as much as I am a fan of Linkin Park. So since they are equal in my mind, I don't think of it as betraying. And I wouldn't listen to LP anymore If I would be betraying them by listening to them. That's just being possessive.

What I usually think about are mashups between bands. Like I'll try to come up with mashups between Linkin Park and the All-American Rejects. So, I don't think of it as betraying.
