I like them. I have to say, I like American Idiot as much as I like their old stuff. Everyone's accusing them of selling out, but look at what American Idiot's about- It's about politics. It's openly bashing the president of the United States. And the kids love it! Sometimes you have to sell out to get your point across.
And they've been around for quite some time, compared to other bands that are in that whole 90s pop-punk whatever classification. Kudos to that.
