It's very true. Halloween participation, IE trick-or-treating, has gone down severely over the years. The first year I started giving out candy, there was groups and groups of kids. A couple years ago(my grandmother passed away around Halloween last year, so I didn't get to have one), there was only one large group of kids who roamed on through, and that was about it for the excitement for the day. It's really rather sad to not see anyone trick-or-treating anymore.

Not a lot of people Trick or Treat around here either. Mainly because i live in a rural town and houses are too far apart. But there are parties that make up for it. 3nodding

Twilights Lady PoppyDadswell your average kid stops at 10/11 not 17! wahmbulance then im not avarage im 19 and if i lived in a more populated area id go trick or treating to ...as it is i get diven a twon over to a friends house for a traditional halloween movie marathon/party I'm 19. I still go trick-or-treating. 3nodding I didn't last year, but the year before....I freakin' tore up my neighborhood. I do think it's time for me to start scaring the kids now, though. I'm planning on haunting my yard this year. My friends and I are all gonna be zombies and scare any kid who dares come to my house shyteless. And we actually get kind of a lot of kids in my neighborhood. I don't think it's dying at all. Though I do live in suburbia, and that's probably a factor.
