This Game rocks for the GameCube! 3nodding
well Tales Of Symphonia is a beautiful game for the gamecube, the battle system is incredible and the story is fun, entertaining, and long (depending on whether the player wants to do mini-quests). The characters are very cool with their own styles of fighting and the magic is amazing beyond anything i have seen before for the GC. 4laugh
I wonder if Namco will make a part 2 for TOS....if they do the only thing they should work on is the ending and the camera movement during the multi-player mode. The moves for the characters are really cool. But this game has beautiful graphics and a very nice storyline. No wonder they call it the " Little RPG that could," it has all the things that a RPG should have! mrgreen
Only Problem: camera movement during multi-player mode and the ending *still puzzling on the ending question *
My personal rating: I would give it a 9 pirate
What do you guys think of TOS?

I enjoyed this game also. I am somewhat reminded of Star ocean with the way the battle system is somewhat made. I reallyed enjoyed playing this game.

jdr_172000 I enjoyed this game also. I am somewhat reminded of Star ocean with the way the battle system is somewhat made. I reallyed enjoyed playing this game. The game is great! but since you mentioned it, I do think the battle system is somewhat similar to Star Ocean.

Personally, I loved Tales of Symphonia. A LOT. Almost as much as Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, and anyone who knows me knows that that's saying a lot.
The characters in this particular Tales game end up quite developed, both in terms of being in battle and character-wise, plus, the designs are pretty good, and the voice acting is nice for an RPG. Not as good as say, Xenosaga Episode I (I still hate that they switched voices and whatnot in Episode II.), but really good.
Favorite character: Zelos.

jdr_172000 I think the voice over was done good also. The voiceovers were done well. The sarcasm in the dialog is very funny also. I really enjoyed the game!!

The game is very nice.
The game play is good for newbie RPGers. xD
I don't think there's a part 2 but you can try the other Tale games. razz There's Tales of Legendia already out.
Tales of the Abyss is coming out soon. But I heard it's for the PS2.
And there's one for the DS. Uuh... Don't remember it at the moment.

I do. I had an urge to b***h smack, not a playable character, but a certain Mayor that hates different races.
