I agree. If we wanted this place to get really popular, we'd have to be really slack about the rules. If we do that, well... this place might not be as friendly as it is right now. Having a small guild that everyone can be cozy is nice. It's warming. ^_^

a good example of a guild that is not very strict about a lot of rules, is [insert guild name here]. there, it's almost always spam (and nothing else), and there's always some sort of random, and to be quite honest, retarded, drama going on and there's very few people who know more than one other person in that guild. everyone is generally bitchy about something and everyone is a complete a*****e to everyone else.
i love it here because everyone can get to know everyone, and we're all friendly. its very comforting to get on the computer when the day hasn't gone well and come here and just chat, vent, or laugh with someone in pwu.
