Pagao was resting on a rock not far from the sleeping Bacia, eyes on the horizon. Lately he'd been thinking quite a lot about his life, about what he needed to do and all of that. Plus what would be happening soon, since it probably should have already happened. Oh well.
(Shittiest starting post. EVER.)

The darkended female creeped away from her sleeping child, over to where the male she had concieved the said child was. "Pagao?" The female said cautiously, eyeing the male. "What are you up to?" Her voice was soft, much softer than it had been since she had first met the adult hyena. That's what parenthood did to one I guess. But...Tali had thoughts plaguing her mind. She needed to speak to Pagao about them soon.

Pagao's snout jerked away from the skyline and over toward tali. "Eh, not much. Watching over Bacia." He nodded to her sleeping form, curled a few feet from the rock. She was certainly getting bigger. "What's up?" He said, one brow slightly raised. She did sound a little funny.

At the word "Bacia", Tali's violet eyes gazed back to her daughter, another sigh allowing to leave her maw. "Nothing.." She murmured. "I.." Shaking her head, she sat on the ground before the rest of her body followed in pursuit. "Been thinking." She said quietly again. Perhaps she didn't want to wake her daughter?
"I..I think it's time we--I..move on." At this, she looked at Pagao. "Just me, that is." Pags could watch their child, he was a good mother.

Pagao took a slow breath, then shrugged his two shoulders as he watched Tali. He sighed slightly. "Well... that was what we decided from the beginning, wasn't it?" He tried not to sound too upset. If anything he knew he was in a little too much over his head, but not so much that he'd drown. It was easier with Tali, perhaps because Bacia took a better liking to her. But it didn't matter, Pags could adjust.

Tali nodded her head slowly, tearing her gaze from the male. "...Yes." She said sullenly, like she dreaded leaving. "But...I didn't know it would be this hard." The hyena female said, moving away from Pagao. She should've realized it though. Leaving someone you love? So this is how Tali's parents felt when she went off on her own that one day and never returned.
"Tell her...I said goodbye?" The dark drow-like female said to Pagao. With a whisper, she added something to the end. "...please..."

Pags frowned lightly and looked down to his paws. "Of course I will." He stated.
After another moment. "If you're ever in the area, I wouldn't mind if you came to see us."

"..I don't think I can do that." Tali told Pags. "I mean... I can try, but no promises." The female said, looking at the ground as she began to walk away. "So...I...I guess this is goodbye then?" The female gave one last look at Bacia, a slow smile slowly creeping onto her maw. "Goodbye...Bacia." She whispered, nodding towards Pagao.

He nodded his understanding, sighing and moving off the rock and closer to Bacia. "See you, Tali." He said softly, as he watched her leave.end
