Char bounded into his room, well, the room he shared with his adoptive brother, Mer, who had followed him in, only much slower and with dignity. There was a rumor going around that new siblings were about to join their family and Char was estatic. "Mer," he called as he leaped onto his bed, "when do you think they'll get here?" The fox studied his "older" brother. Charuan was far more like a child than any actualy child he knew. Crossing his arms over the W in his TWEET shirt, he sighed. "Calm down, will you? I don't know, and on any account, you'll scare them away if you keep acting like an idiot." Char stopped bouncing and glared at Mer. "Why do you always say that!" he asked, his calico tail flicking irritably. "Why can't you just let me be?" Mer rolled his eyes. "Because if I don't keep tabs on you, who will? We can't have you running around terrorizing the other Waywards." Char scowled. "I hope they're not like you!" Mer said nothing, but he was hoping the same thing about Char.

Adrien slipped her little paw delicately into her twin's. "Aidey?" Will we soon be there?" Aiden glanced down at her hand, but said nothing about it. It wouldn't matter anyway, she wouldn't let go. "Yes, Adrien. It shouldn't be much further. Around the next corner." She looked up up at him and smiled. "I'm glad. Will they be nice, Aidey?" He shrugged. "I don't know. I haven't met them either, Adrien," he said patiently, "but Gear says they're good people." She nodded, fiddling with the pink ribbon tied to her tail. Dras had given it to her. "I like Gear." Aiden looked down at her, with a mildly surprised expression at the topic. "So do I." he said softly.

Azure hopped on one foot down the hall, making sure to land exactly in the middle of the tiles. Singing a silly song she had made up, she flipped open her rainbow colored notebook and recited her notes. "Charuan, male, cat, oldest, calico markings, gray eyes. Bit of a troublemaker, but always with good intentions. "Merloue, male, fox, second oldest, chickadee markings, blue eyes. A loner, rather gruff. Often tries to keep a check on Charuan. "Aiden, male, fox, twin of Adrien, brown colored with cream markings, blue eyes. Polite, protective over his sister to a fault. "Adrien, female, fox, twin of Adien, cream colored with brown markings, blue eyes. Demure, fair, the ideal little girl. "And Azure, female, dog, child, black with orange and red markings, blue eyes. Hot-tempered, ambitious, must always be right. "Hmm..." She blinked, studying her notebook, poised on one leg. "That last one sounds familiar..." Setting her foot back down, she shrugged and started to fix her striped gloves, noting her markings, identical to the ones she had just described. "Why, yes! I'm Azure!" She giggled and put her notebook away. She had collected the data upon her journey here, nagging the woman accompaning her and was completel confident that it was fact. Her researcher's skills had never failed her before and she saw no reason for it to now. After all, someday she's be a famous researcher and people from all over would hire her.
