This is the introductory post.
I made this board so that IoDM newbies, like me, can test and evolve our character’s personalities in preparatory for the role-play ahead. I ask that a limit of five people join before I change to [PRP].
This role-play will take on a more moody setting on the sandy shores of Florida, near or during sunset. A light storm is approaching, so the sky is overcast with dark clouds. The most we’ll see here is rain, distant rolling thunder along side warm and salty sea-faring breezes.
This is a modern role-play in relation to IoDM. You must play your character before they went to the island. No mutations. Be aware, as with every role-play character of mine, what happens in this role-play is on a permanent basis. If she met your character then it will be as if she really met you in my later role-plays.

Shenzi tugged a stray lock of hair behind her ear as the sea breeze whipped tendrils of the vivid blue mass from the clip that held it up behind her head. She wore short, blue, green and white plaid swim shorts, as well as plain white tank top with silver sequin around the collar, as she walked through the damp sand, the waves splashing up and over her feet as her toes dug in with each step. Shenzi took a deep breath of the salt air, smiling to herself as her gaze fell on a woman sitting in the sand, wearing sand covered jeans and a sad expression on her face. She walked over, a smile lighting her face as she leaned in front of the other girl. "Hullo there." Shenzi said, grinning brightly.
