a very lonely night and lots of alcohol^^ lol just kidding. it probably will be genetic engineering, though i doubt anything like it will exsist anytime soon, theres the whole, "its inhumane" part of the world that will frocably make it illegal to do so, the country though thats bound to have the first actual "cat person" will be japan, and at that point, every frickin person who deems it wrong and barbaric will be on them like stink on, well... you know.. and becasue of wich, there will be an outlaw in the united states for sure, and the japanese government will most likely be against it for a time, but when they realize that the increased senses of the subjects would be unrivaled in the military and police type jobs they would slowly start introducing them into the military and crime fighting career tracts. though in our lifetimes thtas unlikely, maybe and just maybe near the end of our lives it will happen... but probably not until then^^

Mixing the DNA of a mutated monkey with that of a feline’s and/or vise-versa maybe considered as heresy by far more than you may let yourselves believe.
And even if it were possible, you would only create chaos!
In just the United States alone, men and women - humans - are protected by the constitution and have legal rights by saying "All men are created equal". Cats, half breeds, and anything deemed less than human would not be protected under the constitution. You only need to look at history. Blacks in America were not animals or half breeds of any kind, yet they were still deemed less than human and reduced to slavery. Even now, whites and some blacks give racial tension over simple nothingness.
Another, far worse case can be seen in Nazi Germany. Thousands were killed, just because they were old, or Jewish, or undesirable. All died to make way for the so called ‘master race’. What would happen if any kind of half breed walked the streets in any country? I’ll tell you, Suffering Pain and Death!
Humans are a lowly lot, and thus treat others in the matter that they themselves should be treated. Creating half breeds would cause unneeded tension and, in worst case scenario for humans, civil war.
