this it haw you make a turnip live forever no rotting go to a open table and put a shovel on the gron then put a turnip on the grount from the same spot. wow its on the table.
when its on the table it will live forever domokun

It's kinda simple.
Just get a table in your house, and face it. Open up your inventory, and put it on the ground. When it's a leaf, it'll jump on the table, and it never dies! Fun for decoration. I have black roses in my house.

Thank godd I learned that. DD:
I'm never on during the week, so by the time I check prices
or check my turnips they're spoiled.
I knew that you could use flowers as decorations, though.
And once or twice the neighbours have commented that
my room smells nice. xD

ok for people that did not get it (i did not read whole topic)
goto a table in your house start dropping coins of gold till one gets on the table
take the coin of the table but dont move!
then drop your turnip and whola its on the table and wont rot
