About deties:
Something I have been thinking a lot about latley is different pantheons of gods and goddesses. I'm a hard polytheist which means I see each divine being as unique and a seperate entity. Well I was discussing my possible UPG on a message bord and came to realize that I was bastardizing culture.
I had taken some of the greek gods and placed them into roles that they do not belong in. I feel kinda bad about it now, though I'm going to try to make up any offence may have given them. Any way.
After this realization I began to think that something or some one had contacted me. Only knowing the Greek Pantheon, I assumed it was one of them. Now that I think about it, I have begun to wonder if there are other deties out there who we don't know and don't come from any culture.
For example when I have been thinking about the great creator, the name Tunare comes to mind. Now the only place I have seen that name is in Everquest (an online massive multiplayer RPG). Yet the name seems to fit. Another one is a goddess of love names Amora.
What do you think?
