Great Expectations

what are your thoughts on the novel?
- personnally i hated it. Every single shread of it. it was a waste of life. then again i read it in 9th grade and i was influenced by ill-motivated friends.....

I just started it again recently. I first read the novel in grade seven (nearly eight years ago. Wow!) for a book report. Though I could read the words and get a general grasp back then, the book was a bit over my head. In the years following I have nearly forgotten everything about the book.
I was at a used book store in April and came across a copy. I thought to myself that I should give the book another chance, and that's what I intend to do. I just need to get the spare time to do it now. Time where I can consentrate on the book, for if I've come to know one thing about the novel, it's that it requires consentration.
