All you really need to do is hit the metalic highlights in certain areas to give it a more metal look instead of a plastic one. That's my oppinion anyway. Just try to keep in mind where the light source is, and you'll make it look awesome.


I havent done that yet ^^;
I just finished the modelling. Next will be to do what you just mentioned 3nodding I have mixed feelings of how that will turn out thou.. Im not so good with texture and material making sweatdrop

Thats my plan when Im done texturing the swords. To make an animation where the swords assembles together,
I have a mixed feeling of how that might turn out as well stressed

Well if you mess it up you can always go back, with backup files that you should create, if you haven't yet done so.

sweet but i think that the swords culdve used a little bit more detial...make them shinier...we all like shiny things right lol

Hehe ^^ I have plenty of backupfiles. So if I screw up, there is no biggie.
My point is Im not sure if I can create a metalic look on the swords... not only that, but a good and realistic one.

Im atm working on another project where I make metallic surfaces thou. So far so good. Maybe I can do the same with the swords :3
