Well, I guess I'll start off by sying I've been self teaching myself for about 2 years now, and I'm not half bad!
My first guitar was a Warlock that I got for X-mas. Not the big flashy kind. It is a (blk) B.C. Rich Warlock Bronze Series from one of those beginers sets you could get at Media PLay. Hence, it is very basic and cost probably less that $150. 1 knob and thats for volume. Basic head (not the widow model). Yet, its still a nice guitar, but nothing perfessional. The set came with the guitar, an amp, pick, strings, etc.
A year later, I bought on Ebay for $180. Its an (blk) Acoustic/Electric Fender Scorpion. It was made in Korea and its a beautiful guitar, in looks and sound. The word fender shines in the sun, and inlayed on the 12th fret is a mother of pearl scorpion.
The thing is, I know almost nothing about the scorpion. I no nothing of the price, what wood it is made of, how old it is. Nothing. And I know its a real fender thanks to the mark inside the guitar. The guitar isn't even on the fender website, which really bugs me, and when I search it up on google, I can only find pictures of the electric version.
Thus, I am looking for any help as to information on this guitar. Thanks.

A decidedly non-traditional acoustic! Designed by Fender as the companion piece to their electric Scorpion Esquire, it has a brilliant gloss black finish with a deadly scorpion inlay at the 12th fret. Fender® Scorpion JG-26 Acoustic/Electric Guitar Features: * Companion piece to the electric Scorpion Esquire * Brilliant gloss black finish * Scorpion inlay at the 12th fret Don't get stung...you won't find a better deal anyplace. Order today! (except for that fact that its been discontinued) EDIT: I just got off the phone with fender and this is what i found out. It retailed around $550, had a cedar top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, a nato neck, and black die cast tuners. It was only made for one year, can't remember what year that was.

Sounds like you found yourself a pretty uncommon guitar there. Despite being MIK, you could probly sell it for a pretty good penny in about 30 years blaugh

Whats "MIK"?
As long as you don't mean "worth a good penny" literally, I'm happy. xd I'm never selling this baby.

MIK means Made in Korea, and is it just me being crazy, or is Jeff Krause one of the Fender Custom Shop workers?
