Marlaina- You have yet to re-enter the 100 gold entry fee. It was lost in the community wide rollback last week. If you do not re donate the gold, you will not be eligable to compete in the contest.
Posionful Pearls- Before sending me your picks and posting them here, you must make a donation of 100 gold to the guild. If you do not donate the money, you cannot be offical entered and therefore you are not eligable to win.
I will PM the both of you as well as this notice.

I don't think so. I know that Dispatch has been trying to make it that the guild is more universal to all the members, and the Helen Hayes Awards is not really for ALL the guild memebers.
The Helen Hayes Awards is something in the DC area and would something targeted to theatre lovers in that area. They are not a worldwide award show. Heck, some people might not have ever even HEARD of these awards. I know this is the first time that I've ever heard about that that I can recall.
The Tony Awards reach theatre lovers around the globe. They are the highest honor of the theatre community and it can be said that the Tony night is the one single night out of the year that you could call "Theatre's Biggest Night." That's what makes it different from the rest.
We can't have a contest for ever single award show that comes out with a nominations list. Now, You can have a non offical topic about them. Make a topic with the nominations and people can pick winners, but you must run it, no prize will be given by the guild (you can if you wish), and it will not be deemed "offical" by the guild.

i was kidding... promise...
the HHs is the red headed stepchild of the Tonies... people rarely go... only those who are nominated or REALLY want to go to the after-party...
it's an honor to be nominated and/or win one... but other then that no one really takes them seriously
