Is that the name of the classic yaoi movie? Does anyone actually own it? Sorry, I don't really know a lot of yaoi anime! (though I wish I did)

Never heard of it, sorry. But I'm interested to know if anyone else has now too.

I'm pretty sure it's about two guys at school. One is very pretty, named Gilbert. If I could only remember the Japanese title it would be so much easier to research!

The Japanese title is Kaze to Ki no Uta. I copied the animenewnetwork summary below...aparently the story is highly depressing. I'm pretty sure it is available fansubbed somewhere.

"Set in a 19th century boarding school in France, this adaption of Keiko Takemiya's 1976 boys love manga tells the story of Serge Batouille who remembers his turbulent days in school, standing out because of the color of his skin (his mother was a gypsy) and getting shacked up with Gilbert Cocteau, a blonde androgyne boy who sells his body for school papers. Their life in school is filled with conflicts, desire and desperation."

It does sound kind of depressing, but interesting never-the-less. ^^
