Rhine drained the water from the tub, and grabed a towel patting himself dry. "I'll go lie down and wait for you." He wrapped the towel around his waist, and headed to her bedroom.
Cassara rolled her eyes. "Thicked headed." She went over to Jasmine once he as gone. "You want some help?"

Jasmine was pleased with how she seemed to be quite capable of handling the situation, at least she could wear Rhine down enough to getting him to be a bit more sensible. Left to his own devices, who knew what would happen. He seemed to have a thing for losing blood.
"No, that's ok, Cassara," Jasmine smiled, looking back at Cassara after Rhine left, "You should take it easy too, you know." When she'd gathered up some bandages and one of the odd clips that stuck to gauze bandages the right way, she headed out of the bathroom and to her room, holding doors open for Cassara along the way.

Rhine had laid the towel on the bed, and he himself was streatched out naked. Despite his painful disposition he looked comfortable. His breathing was slow, and his eyes were closed. But it was apparent he wasn't sleep.
Cassara entered and curled into the bedding pile. She yawned, and was quickly back asleep.

Jasmine laughed mentally at the idea of her mother coming in now, though she was certain there'd be a knock and she would understand. It'd be hard to jump to conclusions when his sister is in the room and he's injured. She sat down gently beside Rhine, watching Cassara settle into the nest on the floor before turning back to him.
"You're going to have to sit up a bit for me," she told Rhine, glancing at the head of the bed, "You can sit up against the wall a bit, it'd really help."

Rhine opened his eyes putting two hands on the bed, and pushed himself up. He leaned against the wall. He groaned at the discomfort. His eyes settled on hers. "If it wasn't for wanting to own a cafe, I'd never have another knife in my house again."
His fists clinched, and his tail shifted. It was in his hands, he was rubbing the end of it. His breathing slowed again, and he closed his eyes. "You'd better hurry before I change my mind." His voice wasn't hurtful.
"It hurts to sit up." He added in an attempt to be honest. "I hate having to rely on others." He continued to stroke his tail. He let out a deep breath. "I'm lucky to have you." He smiled soflty, his tail fell to the bed. He was asleep leaving Jasmine to work in peace.

Jasmine winced but did her best not to pay too much attention to the obvious discomfor that Rhine was in. As soon as it was possible, she started to wrap his middle. She was careful not to make it too tight, but not too loose. If they wanted the bleeding to stop, it needed to be somewhere in the middle.
"I know," she replied, smiling up at him. She picked up the pace at his wish to hurry, taking it and his slowed breathing as an indication of the discomfort, "I'm lucky to have you, too." The comment was meant on several different levels. She was certainly lucky to have someone who loved her so much, and she was lucky he was there at all- he was a daredevil and unlucky often, it seemed.
When she finished, she gently pressed down on his chest to get him to lay back down more comfortably. She would get him some blankets and then he could sleep. Jasmine would keep an eye on him.

Rhine woke as the sun set. He rubbed his temple. He was aching, and unsure of how long he'd been asleep. He slowly sat up, and streatched. "Jasmine?" His tail shifted to cover his naked waist.

After Rhine had been bandaged up, Jasmine found some blankets for him and made sure he was as comfortable as possible. The rest of the day was an anxious mess, really, as Jasmine checked on Rhine at least once an hour. It so happened that the girl had just opened the door when Rhine awoke, leading her to believe that perhaps she'd woken him up.
"Rhine," she greeted him, walking into the room, "How're you feeling?" She walked into the room and closed the door behind her. When she reached the bed, she carefully sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at him.

Rhine looked out the window, the sun was setting. Next he looked to the floor, Cassara was gone, no doubt gone home. Then he looked in the directions of the voice. "Jasmine"
Rhine shifted his weight, and stretched. "Great." Sarcasm dripped off his tongue, as a hand ran across his bandaged stomach. "Sorry." He sighed.
Rhine shifted himself, and pulled his bag towards him. He found a pair of pants in the bottom. "Need to organize this mess."
Rhine muttered. "Cassara need to know if she's at home."
Rhine rubbed his temple. "Need to speak to employer." He managed one leg in his pants. "Need to know if I have a job." Another leg in his pants.
Rhine took a heavy breath as he stood up and put his pants on. "Have to clean mess." He zipped his pants. "Need to pack."
Rhine sat back down, and pulled out a shirt. Buttoning it his stomach rumbled. "A bathroom trip and eating is some where on that list."
"Want to come with me?" Rhine ran his hands through his hair. He really didn't want to go alone. He really didn't think she'd let him go alone.

Jasmine gave Rhine a look when he answered her question sarcastically. As much as she'd expected it, she'd still hoped that he would say something more serious. She wanted to hear that he was a bit better because of resting, because he wasn't bleeding..
Then she was baraged with many questions, all at once.
"Rhine, you need to slow down a little bit," she answered first, before taking her time to answer the rest, "Cassara went home several hours ago, we left you here to rest. You needed it, hon. If you had to chose between losing your life and losing your job, I'd hope you'd chose losing your job. You shouldn't not have a job because of this, it was an emergency."
Jasmine inhaled sharply, "Cleaning up and packing is a good idea. Where are you going to go once you've packed? There's food and a bathroom here, even.." She got up off the end of the bed, the only answer she gave to the last question. Jasmine would definetely go with him, if he needed her.

"Cassara's safe." Rhine sat on the bed, and smiled softly. He used the gentlest voice possible. "I won't rest further until I am sure my affairs are in order." He stretched, the expression on his face gave away that he was still in a good amount of pain.
"I am sure my employer will understand. However, I've got a scheduled shift in I'm guessing roughly an hour." He paused. "I'm hoping that he won't mind me taking a couple days off."
"Where will I go?" He sighed. "I'm not going back home. So, I guess." He shivered. "I'm stuck THERE till I can find a place." He stood up, and walked over to Jasmine. "I don't wish to overstay my welcome."
Rhine kissed her softly on the lips. "Let's tell your mother we're going, and then lets go. The sooner I get this stuff done the sooner I can rest again." He smiled.
