Adriana felt warm at her hand, she turned her head to look at it. The puppy was grabbing her hand there. She was confused when she saw tears running from Laxis's eyes.
"Why are you crying?"

"........ Because you look so sad........" Laxis simply said, he held Adriana's hand more tight.
It was a strange picture, Laxis held Adriana's hand, tried to comfort her, but finally he found his own tears running down his face. Drop by drop...
He felt sad.......... He felt sad even it's not his story, he still could not stop crying........ Why..??

Adriana was surprised from the line that slipped through Laxis' lips. He still said it even he cried himself? The puppy's fluffy ears all droop as same as his foxy tail, but the picture in front of her made she felt so warm.
Adriana took her free hand to wipe Laxis' tears and smiled.
"You're so kind, Laxis, but you don't need to lose your tears for me. I cried for it enough and decided to not crying again. You must let the past gone, step forward for your own life. It's true I still love Zsolt and want him to be beside me, but it's impossible. I don't regret for what I had done. It was the best way for me and Zsolt."
She patted puppy's head slightly.
"Stop crying now, or do you want Zsolt to ask you why you're crying? That will be risk for me too, since you promise me this will be our secret." She grinned.

Laxis looked at warm smiling face of Adriana, and suddenly wiped out tears by his free hand. Once again, he looked up on Adriana with stiffy eyes.
"Yeah.. our promise..." Laxis smiled... and jumped from the bench. He turned to face Adriana.
"I won't cry easily anymore, Adriana-san. You gave me strength... I want to live strong like you did.... I used to be all alone but now..." His smile was widen "I have friends...." After a second he felt his face was reden, so he looked away...
"Ah.. Well.. I have to go back to check on Zsolt, it's half past six now. Maybe Zsolt was back and prepared a dinner already..... See you later, Adriana-san!"
He ran off then stopped and ran back...
"Adriana-san, I forgot to tell you something..."

Adriana was glad that she could make puppy stop crying and was back to lively ... and maybe a little bit changing his life attitude?
She paid attention to Laxis' line carefully.
"Yes?"

Adriana was totally stunned there. What did he just say? ...No, she wondered what's wrong with puppy's head.
Yes, few guys were trying to court her, but all those men were just idiots. They were frivolous, and she hated that. Zsolt was the only one she thought he was the best man she found ... the second one was her best advisor, best friend, Rance.
She smiled as looking Laxis ran away. She felt so clear to have someone listen to her. Thank you was the word she said to puppy in her mind.
This day is one of the best day I have. Thank you, Laxis.
She smiled slightly to herself, stood up and headed back to her own place.
Even though she couldn't receive love from the man she loved, but she still had her friends. That was enough...
