i don't really understand what this song is saying really sweatdrop i listen to it over and over again and read the lyrics but i don't understand what the point of the song is confused can someone tell me please xD;;

This is how I interpreted the song when I heard it...
'The Face Of God' could be about being so in love with someone that you want to become a part of them, to become one and literally 'dream what they are dreaming and feel what they are feeling'. To them their love seems so pure that it is almost divine and can therefore be compared to or seen as 'the face of God'.
'I'd kill to share your pain (and carry the shame) and sell my soul for you just to say: I dream what you're dreaming and feel what you're feeling'... 'I'd take my life for your kiss (grant me my wish) And lose it all to take you accross the abyss' - he would do anything for his love and to be loved, even sacrifice himself.
'you dream what I'm dreaming and see what I'm seeing' - it seems that she loves him to the extent that he loves her.

but doesn't ville also say something about killing and selling his soul to do this?
so maybe it was a love that didn't work out that way but he wish it could? o.o;; sorry if that doesnt make sense
