I saw this poster:

And I see Jan Lee, and what i'm guessing is Kasumi. But the other man looks like Zack, only white. So this makes me wonder was he supposed to be white?

Tecmo was in crisis at that time and the creator decide to make DOA. I'm not sure if that's really him when the game is released in Japan, but it should have been different after the arcade came out, then the consoles.

It could be Zack. But the designs are pretty different (counting out the whole skin color thing). If anyting it could be Hayabusa or an early design for Hayate as a different character.
Either way, we know Zack wound up on the team 3nodding
