I'm supposedly very intelligent, but I have issues that make employing my intelligence rather challenging (learning disabilities and chronic/major depression). I'd write more, but I'm tired and I'm not entirely sure anyone wants further details.

I am a pretty smart kid. i get all A's in school, and i love to learn. but i get distracted easily, like if my class is re-learning something. but i am learning a few computer programming languages, and find it very fun and interesting. i much prefer Math and Science [Chemistry and Physics please] more than English and the Arts. so you could say I'm really smart.

killer64us and Star Jelly basically summed up everything I thought while browsing through this thread.
I'll still answer for fun. ahaha
Not being modest at all here, just my true thoughts. I think I'm not smart at all. I'm just a hard working student who gets good grades, but compared to everyone else, I'm very bad at everything else. Even in academics. I can get good grades, but if a professor throws those challenging questions for us to write a report on, I can't figure it out and get 100% correct. As long as I do the general studying all the stuff in class and memorize and practice problems, I get a good grade. If it's anything beyond that, I never get it correct 100% or I go off in the wrong direction or I think of it too much. And most of the time, simple life problems I cannot solve or get around. If schools did not exist, I would consider myself 100% fully confused, like I am most of the time anyways.
It's really frustrating... but I work the best I can. And I don't think MY grades come close to describing my intelligence. Other people who get good grades are probably ACTUALLY smart, but for me, I think my grades don't say anything about my intelligence at all.
