If you're looking for a simple reason, Feral Labs could bag him at the scene of a car accident or something :3 Doesn't have to be a connection per se, it's been said before that they'll grab people out of hospitals and claim they died.

Hey LaRoche, I just wanted add that I think the bison is fine. I really don't think you need to change your animal.
I don't think the hospital snatch will work, as relatives will want to see a body.

Unless of course he were (supposedly) so badly injured that the body wouldn't be viewable. I think that's why Thom Brinley was spirited away-- the rest of his team was killed in the bus crash, and his body was "missing" or too damaged. Something like that.
But yeah. I already said in the main thread that I thought the bison is fine. I honestly don't think there's any need for 'weirdness for weirdness' sake' for this character.

Oh, I have no desire to change Lance from a bison to anything else.
And car crash IS a good idea... But why would feral labs want him? What makes him particularly special? I know how he gets there, and I know how to make him dissapear, but why do they want him? I was under the impression Moreau researched his subjects - there has to be a reason Lance is there.
I want to do something unique with a simple character.

Maybe just that he is a normal guy.

Sometimes they just grab random people for the sake of being random. :3
I don't think there's any real reason for Kaveri to be on the island other than that she fell right into their trap in looking for subjects, for example. I doubt they were specifically looking for an angry squatting anti-Bush/government protestor with one hell of an arrest record to experiment when they lured her over. wink
As for Lance, it could just be "luck" of the draw if he wound up in a car crash/hospital, or he was offered some form of physical therapy if he was injured in the wreck.

I think I'll keep him under the impression that he is going on a cruise- and his family will be under the impression that there was an incident.
