There were some concerns over why the Guild went Hidden, then Public, then back to Private and just some general confusion.
My answer to why we went Hidden was that it was an "experiment" of sorts. Why I did it will continue to be my little secret but let's just say after having it that way for about a week, i'm not so sure it will ever go back.
Now the Guild going Public caused a bit more of a sitr. The simple answer was at the time, it seemed like something new and interesting to try. It was to be part of our "counter-campaign". It was never explicity advertised because I didn't want to make it blatantly obvious to people who were already long-time readers of the guild to cause a stir. Basically, if someone new was surfing the pages of Gaia, found us, and headed in, it was to encourage them to just say something, anything.
It seems people have a problem with this. As far as i'm concerned, feedback can go into any direction it wants too, but as much as Beware, Lyme, and Mcphee all share and basically own this guild with me, I was sitting at the pilot's seat at that point (and Beware has Vice-Captainship...) not to mention, it was my action to begin with so any and all inquiries should have thusly, come to me. Believe me, we would have sorted alot out. For future reference, for inquiries on Guild status and Guild positions, come to the Captain who made the change. It's only fair.
Finally, to members of the PCG and any other Guild who may read our pages and drag our info. to their own side:

We are a place of shared ideology, and nothing more. Basically, it's the town congregation coming to the Saturday night BBQ in the Church parking lot: pretty much believe the same thing but you can't guarentee they're talking about the Bible at all points. We are not some vast Pro-life HQ. We talk about debate tactics and current issues and stuff but for you to, and quote me, waste your time, by dragging things out of our guild to bring it back to your own and begin to comment on it:
Completely uncool. We don't need to be hidden to command this much respect. You are welcome to read our pages and giggle to yourself, that's fine. But other then being open for the sake of new members, do not think there is anything here worth your time. Please do not bring information or events out of our guild and into your own. Because half the time, you drag it out of context, and just slander us. No one deserves that.
You want to respect peoples' possessions? Then you will respect my Guild and the rules I have established for it. As far as i'm concerned, this is my Body and you can take your unneccessary, unruly drama and shove it elsewhere.
