地蔵菩薩是All of those books, magazines, articles, and lectures I mentioned all failed
to mention something that really helped me out here. Thinking of sangha
not only as the group of fellow practitioners, but as the lineage of people
that preserved the buddha dharma from the time of the buddha up until
the present age, and made them widely available so that even someone,
like me, from ******** Saskatchewan could study and learn to practice.
It also refers to the deities in the Vajrayana as being aspects of our own
inner wakefulness. So I am inseparable from Chenresig, Vajrasattva,
Tara, Manjushri, Bhaisajye, et cetera. They are my sangha. So while I
may be far away from human teachers and human practitioners, it is
simply not possible for me to be separated from these enlightened deities.
Also, I just read that Lama Surya Das mentioned how one can even
consider one's pet part of the sangha because the pet needs care and
attention, and that is a form of practice. The family pet helps us to cultivate
the far-reaching attitudes! xD
