-Looks and styles, dam they look awesome
-Music, it sounds awesome and speaks with actual emotions and passion
-Personality. They cant be them if they cant be themselves

My favorite thing about j-rock is...
Well, two things.
First off, if you are listening to music in a different language, you are forced to actually LISTEN to it, as opposed to just hearing the sound, with music in English. You get to hear the music, the true sound of the vocals, the way everything blends perfectly together (or, in some cases, not so perfectly sweatdrop ), instead of hearing some whiney boy complain about life. Which leads me two...
Reason number two-SO MANY j-rockers are madly talented. Instead of either making noise, or making sounds that just SOUND impressive, artists in Japan take their time and find the best tune for the mood or theme of the song. You can actually listen to long solos, and not get bored of it, because it is amazing.
If you can't tell, I am quite a bit biased against American music. Just my opinions. ;}

Rixxie 1. MUSIC2. Style ( heart Mana's style) 3. Humor 4. playfulness 5. and just that they're all different! Not afraid to dress differently or try something different!Like moi!...I think The rest of the world should try being different too.. I agree with you 3nodding

About singers I like...
1 - their often howling voices (&/vibrato)
2 - if they do more with their voice than "just" sing (cry/scream/whisper/...)
3 - the charism / the way they act
4 - the style
5 - backstage behavior & interview answers
About Japanese musicians in General I like...
1 - the Music they make
2 - the music they write
3 - their style
4 - the way they move and act
5 - backstage behavior & interview answers
I think guys are hot / not matter if they're musicians or not, if...:
1 - they can make music
2 - the have a wide mouth
3 - they have a fleeing chin
4 - they have stylish hair / style in general
5 - they are smaller or thinner than me
...but really, that's not what musicians are for... redface
