Aiko parked the car under a big oak tree and turned to face Carl and Gwena.
"Well, here we are," she said.
The children didn't reply. Carl crossed his arms and looked out of the window.
"You're not coming?" asked Aiko stepping out of the small car.
"I didn't want to come in the first place," said Carl, turning the other way to avoid her gaze. "I wanted to stay home and watch TV."
"You kept saying you were bored and you had nothing to do, and now you have. A whole day to explore the village you're from. Aren't you interested?" insisted the girl.
Carl grunted.
Meanwhile Gwena had already stepped out of the car and was looking around interested.

A brown owl flew overhead, flying magnificantly, to a northern place. He hooted a few times, before disappearing between the trees.

*A bit unsecure I walk into the village, my feather, Zuzuella, is sitting in my hair. I had send in a form to join this village as I knew a friend would be here as well. At least thats what her note said. But I never heard from any and didnt know if I were accepted... I look around on the small huts and wonder where our new home would be. I had decided to live her with Zuzuella untill she was old enough to take care of herself as my family needed me as well*

*Not finding anyone I knew or anyone that seem to know where I am supposed to go I just sink down on a rock and look at the nature surrounding the village*
Well, Zu', seems its just you and me for now, I hope we did end up right.. gosh Im getting sleepy, arent you?
*I stretch out my body and let a hand to my hair to find the feather*
I sure hope you wont evolve while you are on my head..

Gwena sat down on a mossy rock and opened her sketchbook, starting to draw.
Carl looked at her for a while, then noticed an old, gnarled tree.
"I might try and climb the tree, I bet Aiko wouldn't want me to," he thought, still annoyed.
He grasped the lowest branch and started going up, and up, until he was lost in the leaves.
From there he spied Gwena on the left, and Aiko passing just under his hiding place. "I could jump on her, she's be really scared... no, that's silly, I'd break my neck..."
Then he heard human voices from the other side of the village.
So this wasn't an abandoned village, there was people around!

*I yawned big as I slowly stroked the feather*
dont worry, we will find our way.. how hard can it be? I am sure there must be others here.. somewhere... that is what they said by the store at least...
*I looked around, it did seem dead, indeed and I wasnt as sure as I tried to sound*
can you even hear me, Zu? I mean.. do you notice me.. understand me?
*I sighed, it felt kind of stupid talking to a feather and I almost wished we had stayed at home and not went here.. to.. well wherever this are*

Carl looked up from his hiding place on the tree, and nearly fell off.
Gwena was looking at him, sitting peacefully on a slim branch.
"How... how did you find me?" he asked, amazed.
Gwena shrugged. "It wasn't difficult, you're more noisy than a pack of elephants..."
"But how did you manage to climb the tree without me noticing?" he added, disgruntled.
Gwena grinned. "I just did like the wild animals do... very quietly, to avoid hunters..."

*not feeling too confortable here I stand up and look around me.. the trees.. the ground...*
I wonder how to get to some people? houses? why cant you tell me? you should know..
*I poked my feather, but quickly hanged on to it as I felt wind blowing up a little*
hmm.. I guess I should take that as a sign for no of some kind...
((would be easier if I had an better idea on what buildings are in here thou >.<))

Carl looked at Gwena suspiciously. He didn't like the idea that she was better than him at climbing... he didn't like the idea the she was better than him at anything. She was a girl, after all!
"Wanna play hide and seek?" he suggested.
Gwena giggled. "Ok... who goes under first?"
"I'll do. I'll count to... to 50" he said. He couldn't count to much more anyway.
Carl slowly reached the ground, and covered his eyes with his hand.
"One... two... three..."
Gwena looked around and saw an old hut. That could do, she decided. She ran in as quietly as possible. Inside it was dark, and dusty. Nobody had lived there for a long time.
She crouched behind the table and waited.

*I suddenly felt air blow trough my hair.. I looked around surprised, it wasnt windy today... then saw some myserious glow from the top of my head and.. oh my it was getting heavy.. fast as I could, my hands fumble and..*
yes, found you..!
*I bursted out and picked the feather out of my hair, a green glow, strong enough to make me look away showed and the next moment, I heard someone crying... I looked back and on the ground, a little green winged girl sat.. I blinked a few times and then my eyes widend*
Zuzuela...?
*I asked wondering*
*Zuzuela rubbed her eyes with the back of her hands, she were scared, tears rinning down her cheeks... but at the sound of her name she stopped and just looked up at her mother wondering... blinked a few times... then she realized it was her mother and flied up and wraped her arms around the very chocked mother*

"Meh" It had turned out that they lived close enough to the village that Kelly could walk there; and Nova's hour-a-day rule had forced her out. Yippee.
She had dumped her bag under a tree and sat on it, absorbed in 'Bimbos of the Death Sun'. Apparently Nova had stored all of her sci-fi and fantasy books in Kelly's new room; a move she might regret when/if Kelly went to school. Nothing quite that distracting!
She wasn't really that bothered about the half-ruined villagel she really wasn't. It was Nova's stupid rule.

 Sera leaves its mother at home while she will give a turn for the town she wants to know people.She Goes for a walk calm looking the you hoist and listening the birds
