Now don't tell me you've never thought of this. What are some t2 cards with super good card art? Ghost-Lit Nourisher, Enigma Eidolon, Jiwari, the Earth Aflame, and the black Eidolon (I am basing this off of how good they look in pencil, which is AWESOME by the way. Try drawing them sometime). What do all of these cards have in common? They suck. Now, think about this: These card arts suck (with paper and pencil): Pithing Needle, Breeding Pool, and Umezawa's Jitte. What do these have in common? They are ultra-good (I know Jitte isn't played so much anymore, but Snakes runs it and its an up-and-coming deck, and its in a few sideboards). Anyone else notice this trend?

holy crap! jitte isn't played any more!?!?!? i'm WAY out of the loop, man...
last time i played constructed, it was tearing up EVERYTHING!! dang it! i need to start working so i can afford constructed....
