Deja vu
1. An impression of having already experienced something actually being experienced for the first time. 2. Dull familiarity
Have you ever experienced deja vu before?

Nothing conformational studies indicate that those between 15-25 experience it more than any other age group But as for theories *previous experience where person wasn't paying close attention the first time * faulty memory or possibly a type of seizure (epilepsy) *ESP

What sometimes concerns me is that I feel it more than once, and in multiple situations, it's teh same feeling. I feel like my existence is repeating constantly.

There are those who believe that time is circular, not liniar. And certain events will repeat themselves
Then there is the influence of Karma and events we are here to experience. Karma situations are not just passed from one life to the next until we get it right, but also can be repeated in the same life time. The characters may not be the same, but the situation is.

I usually don't remember after I have deja vu but I do remember a small part of what happened for one of them. It lasted for long enough to start freaking out about it. So it probably went on for like 5-15 seconds.

Scientifically, it has been thought of as just a neuron misfire, or something in the brain misfiring and causing a 'relapse' of what you just saw.

Sometimes something just clicks and it's like 'I've done this before...already' and it feels like being stuck in a time loop, the sense in my mind that this has already happened and its like that movie, Groundhog Day.

Oterys Sometimes something just clicks and it's like 'I've done this before...already' and it feels like being stuck in a time loop, the sense in my mind that this has already happened and its like that movie, Groundhog Day. that movie was great...the first three times Bill Murray repeated the day...then it just got to the point where I wanted him to just die. Well not die himself..but just the movie to end...it got too long.

That's true, you really just wanted time to progress at that point...it was worse than one of those Star Trek episodes where you got stuck in some kind of time loop. But seriously I'll be having a conversation and have this feeling that I've already done this...maybe a month ago, or maybe a year ago, but it happened.

I used to get them more often when I lived in Minnesota..It was from ages 10 and 13. I still get them, just not nearly as oft. I miss them..I liked the feeling sometimes. sweatdrop

I personally hate having that feeling since I have a sense of futility in it. Its like walking in circles in search of something, or being in a play, practising over and over again until it wears a groove in your mind...a sense of doing it again and again...ugh sweatdrop

I dunno, but some people say that they have experienced deja vu because of what they did in their past lives. Sometimes I'll be in some sort of position doing something and get thei weird deva ju-ish feeling, even though I know I've done it before, just not in the same manner, probably.
