Kerryn held her hand out, palm up, for the Koi food. A lopsided grin tugged at the corner of her lips, "Thanks." Looking into the water at the fishes below she skattered the food over the surface, letting the brittle flakes roll off her fingers.
"A secret forest and glade?" She breathed, thinking of the possibilities, and then something hit her, something that seemed too familiar to stop. "Tell me a story about them? Please?" Kerryn asked, wiping her hands on her apron as she shifted position to face him, tilting her head to look up at him as she got comfortable.
Bri turned her head to look out the window, following Emme's gaze. "I don't think anyone who has a child from the shop was quite sure what their fancy would bring them. Although, I cannot say that I regret purchasing the key. Not one bit."
Lifting her cup of tea to her lips as she looked back to Emme she smiled, "I think you being nosey has been good for Kerryn, she doesn't seem too put apon, sitting out there."

Ray laughed, the difference in ages so clear at that moment. But still, this girl he found himself strangely fond of, more so than even Kami or Aurora when he met them as a child. "A story, huh? Well, there's not exactly a whole lot to tell."
He explained to her the strange draw he'd felt to the garden, and the wall of the garden fartherest from the shop. He also told her of the strange door they'd found hidden in the wall of the garden, and of his struggles with the girls to get it open. He told her of Kami's beautiful glowing wings which guilded them through the small tunnel to the otherside of the wall, and ended at a path which lead down to the forest glade. "And... well, that's about it. Oh! no, wait... I almost forgot about the statues and rock carvings. They still dont' make sense to me, but they were really amazing. The largest carving was of an angelic form watching over the entire glade."
Emme nodded, glad that Bri wasn't unhappy with them about selling her a charmed key. She'd never meant to trick anyone... "I never expected to be raising a child myself. But I feel the same way. I definately don't regret it."
She smiled, watching Ray and Kerryn through the window. "They do seem to be getting along quite well, and look, she made him laugh. He's been so moody lately..."

Kerryn listened intently, pleased that Ray was fulfilling her request for a story, but awed at the idea of Kami having glowing wings. Hadn't she met Kami, the small girl with pink hair? Pushing that out of her head she tried to imagine the glade with all the wonders that Ray spoke of, the secret door and the angelic figure that watched over the glade making her sigh in longing to see it.
Bri watched the figures of their two children, watching the change in Kerryn's posture as she relaxed and fell into the lull of being a child, and having friends. "She doesn't get along with children who aren't Simu.." Bri found herself explaining, "I tried to take her to Durem's children's park, but she wouldn't go near the other kids. I think she's afraid because she is different."
Hoping that the children weren't aware they were being watched, she continued. "It is nice to know that she is making a friend. She's met a couple other Simus, but only Yeste, and a boy called Ronin struck her fancy really."
Looking at her watch Bri frowned, "Kerryn and I should probably be on our way, thank you for having us over for tea. Maybe Kerryn can come back some time, or Ray can come over to our apartment?"
"I met Kami before, but she didn't have wings.. Did she grow? Does she still have pink hair? I don't really like pink, green is better." Kerryn found herself babbling, "You'll take me to the glade some time soon? So I can see it for myself?" There was an eager look in her eyes, like she would give anything to go and see the glade. Like it ment the world to her.

Ray smiled fondly at the younger girl, amused that she seemed to be the first person he really felt comfortable talking with outside his family. "Kami did grow. She's taller than me even! and her hair is longer, and she's still very pretty, and now she has tiny fairy wings. Her hair is a darker pink, though... I think it's turning more red as she gets older." Ray found himself explaining Kami's new appearance fondly. He had a soft spot for the girl with pink hair, but he wasn't entirely sure what it meant.
He nodded at her question about the Glade. "I'll take you as soon as we can. Just ask your mother to come and visit me at the Looking Glass garden for the afternoon. Just keep it a secret. I think only the Simulacra are supposed to know about it, okay?" He patted her shoulder. "I really look forward to showing you. I think out of all the simu I've met, you'll like it best."
"Hmm... Ray got along fine with the Elvin children.... though strangely now that we're back among his own kind, he's been kind of reserved.. well at least since he's grown. But he seems quite taken with Kerryn. I can't get over how well they seem to get along already." Emme said in response to Bri's comments. "I guess all children react differently..."
"Oh! Yes, it is getting late. But thank you, so much for coming over. I really apprecaite it. We'll have to arrange for another visit soon. Ray's pretty independent these days, so feel free to ask him if he'd like to visit anytime. He's at the shop a bit more now lately, so I'm sure you could probably find him there."

"You already have my number, so if I could get your's Kerryn'll probably call Ray sometime, or we might stop by the shop soon. Probably after I get back to my regular job." Bri smiled, standing up and pulling on her blazer as she headed for the door to the back yard.
"Red isn't bad. Yeste' is red and she's cool. And.. Ok, our secret then." She told him cheerfully, scrunching up her nose slightly when he patted her shoulder, sticking her tongue out at him. "I'll see if I can't get down to the shop when Bri goes to work in a couple days, I have to spend the next few days with my plants. The next few days are vital since the days have been a little cold on the balcony and I have to make sure that the sprouts aren't harmed."
"Ryn, sweetie, time to go." Bri called softly out to her daughter, who sighed and nodded.
"Kay, mom." Looking back to Ray as Bri headed back into the house, she shrugged her shoulders softly, "I guess I'll see you soon, alright?" Kerryn said with a smile, pushing herself to her feet and patting Ray on the head with a grin before walking off into the house, to be accompanied out of the studio with a wave to Emme as the door shut behind them.
