So...I just got Withering to Death (a CD by Dir en Grey), so of course I'm listening to it while I'm on the computer.
Now, I listen to them almost every day, especially when I'm on the computer...but today, my mother decided to make a comment about it.
She's like "I have no idea what you're listening to. No idea. I don't know who you are anymore."
Now, normally, I would rebel and get all mad about a comment like that, but I just let this one roll of my back. The kind of music you listen shouldn't matter. I mean yes, Kyo screams bloody murder in alot of these songs, but that doesn't mean I'm a crazed, evil person, or what ever my mother is thinking right now.
She's probably thinking this way because...she listens to country music. I was, therefore, raised on country. I like country alot, actually, and I know ever word to every song on the country radio...
But that shouldn't mean that I can't listen to Dir en Grey. My dad is a fan of all kinds of music...basically every kind except country. Blues, death metal, techno, whatever. He's listened to Dir en Grey and he likes it, and he usually makes fun of my Japanese music because he has no idea what they're saying...

the music you listen to doesnt affet me sweatdrop
eh what i think i ment to say is, musi doesnt affect how i think...but it can reflect what i am thinkign about sometiems? like if i am happy and i am listening to a happ song? smile ;

My mom never was like that since she listened to rock and metal as she grew up but that's how a lot of kids at school think I am. Some of my favorite bands are Hawthorne Height, Panic! at the disco, underoath, My chemical romance, green day and 30 seconds to mars and some people think I'm emo and think of killing myself when I'm actually a really happy person...just a bit shy around others XD

lol I think i hang out with all the dorks...the people who are barely known but we manage ourselfs XD But I have friends of all different groups...
I just hate when people judge you by what you wear and what you listen to.

Wow.
-My mom is okay with me listening to foreign stuff since well, she'd be one to talk. But she wouldn't like Dir En Grey- I listen to it when she's out gardening though... XD gotta love sneaking around....
Though I am getting alittle more critism lately >.<
