The dragon tried to save me. The rocks hit him and he dropped me, but not on purpose. I got stuck under the rocks. I was scared and I cried. I was stuck a long time. Then a nice lady dug me out and saved me. I want her to be my mommy. I know she's not, but I want her to be. I'll call her mommy, just because.

I have just realized something; Alex could have been my real mother. I mean, I know she's not, and she still has an interest in hopefully finding a mate one of these days (I saw that black rose she brought back the other night; I just wanna figure out who left it for her!), but . . . she could have been! After all . . . she said that I actually came from the God of the Moon, but . . . my type can be made through fire and dark . . . I wonder if Mom's mate is going to be a Dark drake? That would be cool, you know, to have brothers and sisters like me.

I've met a lot of new people today . . . Daggera (an Oblivion Drake) and her younger brother Queince (a Shadow Drake), and then Kaen, who I think is an Acid Drake. They're all rather nice . . . Kaen let me solve a logic puzzle with him and is rather cute. He has a star over his eye just like I do. He's a little shy though, which, I guess is to be expected, with him being new and all. Well, he's a nice enough guy, my age, too.
Daggera doesn't meet my expectation of an Oblivion Drake at all, though she's a bit disallusioned when it comes to Dassan. She thinks he's "not all that bad" . . . he almost killed my mother. Enough said.
We have a new addition to the family as well, Chloris, a mute Dark Drake. She and Daggera's young brother Queince have hit it off surprisingly well, and I'm managing to teach her sign language so that she can communicate. Wasn't there another mute Drake around here somewhere? Things must be really rough at home for the children to be coming in with such problems. At least mother is letting me fight in the tournament . . . and I hope that she and Draco finally get together . . . it would be nice to have a father . . .
