The leopard found himself wandering the daylight, moving through the trees with a silent sense of lurking as he knew others had the same skill. Nothing was safe, at least not from him, and he felt the bloodlust surge once more after the uneventful day before. Amri was gone, slumbering in his darkness safe and sound as Mafujo now held control, his eyes blood red with no pink left.
It was the only sign of who was out, the color of the eyes and the tone that the male took. Passable twins, many would not know they were the same less they saw the change. And those who saw the change, never survived.

His coat melded with the background quite perfectly. Especially up here. the trees were his home and probably always would be. Ice green eyes glanced up through the canopy above his head and he smiled for a moment, his dark face being highlighted for a mere moment by a flash of sunlight before the trees abive him once again shifted back in to their normal possitions casting the faint green light all over him.
Jani'esquillo was out hunting, the cheetah of the jungle knew where to go to feed, he could stalk the trees, the silent hunter, swift and agile. Of course, when he spotted the light figure moving through the shadow of the trees he paused and crouched upon the branh he had stopped upon. His ears tightened against his head and those bright mint coloured eyes flashed through the trees in search of the identity of the intruder so near his hunting ground.
The green squirrel as he was often called, was not foolish enopugh to tackle a leopard, so he would watch and hope it continued on, though he knew his scent was blowing with the wind towards the creature on the ground. He could run through the trees if need be. His body and claws were built for tree leaping instead of ground running, he would have little problem escaping a leopard which was stationed on the ground. But why worry? he the leopard may not even care he was there after all.

Pausing to slowly sniff at the air, Mafujo indeed caught the scent of the cheetah, and smirked darkly at that. It pleased him to know he could find so many creatures easily in the moist woods. While Amri insisted on hiding from the life, Mafujo welcomed it with open claws. Life meant creatures he could kill.
"Come out wherever you are, my precious," the leopard called out softly, his eyes sharp as his voice rumbled with a pleased purr. Memories of the chase he had with the lion caused him to want to play more games, and any creature he could mentally and physically torture would be one he would love.
Turning towards the light breeze, he peered into the canopy, and noted that whoever was out there blended in quite well. Even the eyes were a shade of green, at least he gathered, that or the creature closed his eyes, for the silver leopard had no notion of where the scent was centralized.

"You must think me a fool leopard if you think i would reveal my location to you" The green mottled cheetah stayed perfectly still. he knew camoflage was his first form of defence and nature had provided him perfectly with the colouration of the jungle. "I am no precious of yours leopard" he spat the word as if it tasted foul upon his tongue. He resisted lciking his lips knowing the flash of pink may be his giveaway. Silence rained once again as he watched the pale leopard.
He could see the beast more clearly now, a full grown leopard with eyes dancing red and vicious. Though the green cheetah was strong and well built for a creature whom should be naturally slender, he knew full well he could not, and should not more to the point, try and take on a leopard, even an insulting one. he valued his life, though he was no coward he longed to continue his tree leaping life.

Smirking at the words, his ears flickered once and he got the location perfectly, catching the outline of the other after a long moment of starring. The eyes were light green, surreal almost and Mafujo silently applauded the pelt that worked perfectly in this setting. Now if both were out in the plains, it might have been another story. Mafujo might not have the pelt, but he had the speed, and he wanted a chase.
"I see you, and though your green pelt helps, your voice did little to sheild your position..." His rich tone grew dark as he took a step towards the other, smirking and keeping his eyes unblinking. If he didn't do that, odds were that he would lose sight of the other, and not catch him again.

The green cheetah shifted slightly as the other approached. Did the leopard expect him to jump down there? he could leap away before the other was even in the branches. A dark green shape amongst dark green leaves he lifted himself from his laying possition and leapt to another branch. He knew full well this would make him visable but he thought perhaps, the other would forget about chasing him if he saw him move as swiftly as he did through the tree tops. Of course, those mint green eyes never left the pale stranger.
He landed softly, the mere shake of the tree he had just passed in to causing a few leaves to fall around his dark form. "My name is Jani'Esquillo, it would be pointless for you to chase me I can go far higher than any leopard." His tail lashed once, though he was heavier and mucelier than your average cheetah he was still built with that slender swift moving frame of all creatures of his kind. "You would be as wll to save your energy" he stated simply a flash of his fangs glareing white against his dark background.

Mafujo grinning, clearly enjoying the threat instead of cowering in it, but a moment later, he started to shake, overexagerated. As he lowered his maw, a frown appeared in it and his tail moved between his legs, a whine scratching from his throat.
"Oh dear, oh me oh my, I am being outshown by a-" He paused a moment and smirked before jumping swiftly up to a branch himself, landing with ease and looking across the clearing to where Jani awaited, "-filthy, wannabe monkey, oh how pleasent. Tell me, Jan, do you want to test that gamble of yours, do you have the confidence that you can outrun a leopard that has been trained to hunt in these trees and has never, never lost a single catch in his life?"
Raising a brow, his blood red eyes taunted from across the way, well after his words were finished, and he seemed much too relaxed in the air. His short legs helping ease the balance and full of strength and clinging claws.

Jani'Esquillo stood tall on the banch he was perched upon, his white fangs flashed beneath their deep green coverings. "I have as yet to be caught by one of you leopard, what makes you different?" He was getting angrier by the moment, he wished he had the strength, the power to show this leopard who was boss. Alas he knew the leopard would kill him if he caught him. He was no fool to think other wise. However, he could certainly out run the strange, crazy eyed leopard.
He had been in thetrees since he was a cub, his toes had bent, shaped and moved so that he could leap the trees as fast as a normal cheetah could run the ground. He was fasta nd could out pace most anyone, either that or find a place to hide once he was out of sight and watch his persuer pad right on by. He had tricks and the trade was his.
"Come then leopard, chase me if you wish I am not fool enough to stand heer and let you kill me, so catch me if you can!" Jani'Esquillo had not been given the name green squirrel for nothing, he leapt away, unafraid of his footing, unafraid of hight or the branch he would be landing upon. he landed daintily, glancing back once as he raced along the limb he had landed upon only glancing once in search of his bearings before leaping again.he was quick, agile and knew his way around the trees. This, after all, was his home.

Mafujo smirked, his eyes growing acostomed at the slight differences of the cheetah as they spoke, and he darted on the ground underneath with agile skill, dodging the trees without even looking fully at them.
"You underestimate, and that will be your folly!" He laughed in a taunt, before he pounced up to the trees with one quick slam. Raising his head, he glanced around for those pale eyes, before he sniffed lightly at the air. Dispite the cloak, he still had the scent of the other filling the air, and so he pushed on, the chase fuling his blood and causing his muscles to push harder still.

Jani'esquillo kept his eyes ahead, his ears twitched constantly listening for the pale stranger whom wished to tear him to peices.
He knew this jungle well, it was a regular path he followed on a daily basis, nothing much ever changed along it. the green cheetah paused only for a second and changed his direction, he knew where he could hide, scentless, he just had to keep moving, stay invisable until he was there. "Folly? leopard the folly is yours you are wasting your time!" he called behind himself leaping to another tree without a moment hesitation.

Ears flickering again, Mafujo just stopped suddenly from where he stood, peering around slowly before his nose picked up another scent. Eyes darkening even more, he turned his head down to where a small creature resided, a monkey almost that was a few branches below.
Nails suddenly erect, he jumped down and slammed into the creature, his maw digging into flesh while he pounced again and landed on the ground. Blood seeping from his maw, he just dug into his meal, more content with making a mess than savoring the flavor. Indeed he forgot all about the cheetah, instead enjoying his meal as his tail swayed happily like a pleased kitten with his catnip.

Jani listened as the monkey took his place in the leopards tourment. He shook his head, they all had to eat. Taking a deep breath he leapt off through the trees. speaking of feeding, now he had lost the leopard he would get back on his hunt.
