I need money, I'm a lvl 55 samurai and i don't know how.
Already i still need 2 woodsmans rings, O kote, the level 50 GK. That comes to about 8 mil, and soon I will be needing Hauby, making it 12mil.
My BCNM luck sucks and I have only 40 seals left
Pashow marshland farming is poor, 75k for blood, 180k for cuttings and 30k for thread. It's not worth the week of farming.
My NM luck is pretty bad aswell, i can never claim it, and if i do it's because no-one else is around and i never get the drop. I was luck to get hoo mjuu the torrent.
My crafts aren't very high, it never really interested me.
20 goldsmith
11 fishing
5 Blacksmith.
What else is there to farm?
What NM's are good?
What good ways to make money are there?
Buying gil is not an option for me.

There is an NM eft in Bibiki Bay >.> forgot his name but he spawns kind of inbetween where your about to take the boat and when you head towards Buburimu Peninsula, So far i haven't really see much campers going for it >.> maybe it was just my luck but as a bst leveling there >.> i seem to be able to see the NM spawn with hardly anybody there. I don't know the cost for the pants but when a ls friend of mine sold it, we sold it for about 750-800k and we split it(asked her to come help me since i was only a level 36 about that time)
Hmmm you don't like crafting... well you don't exactly need high level craft to really gain money(although jack o lanterns went down 3k in my server)... this was around a level30-40 cooking and i use to get 10k each(and the materials cost about 45k only), It doesn't need to be high, just look for something that sells in a day and you can gain quite a lot of gil.

Even though your crafts are low they are actually high enough to make you a nice profit. Like it or not, crafting is the best way to make money in game. Let's just say I'm 92 Woodworking and never ever broke XD
Open up ffxi.somepage.com and look down on the left for the Guild Recepies list. Enter in your highest craft skill and see what you can make!! Then go to the AH and factor in cost of materials versus profit margin. 20 goldsmithing is high enough to make ingots, and usually these are a good profit. Just buy the ores from vendor (and save all your crystals!) and you'll make at least 150% profit for each stack of ingots.
There's a lot of low lvl synths that cost nothing to make but sell for a lot because people are lazy and will buy instead of making. So the key is to do some research.
Every time you log in take 30 minutes to synth some money items, and then trust me, you'll never be broke again.

My tip for making 4mil in about 3 hours and haveing a blast doing it. Get into a good linkshell that does garrison runs alot. Garisson is awsome and on some of them the drops sell nicely, Military harp is 2.5mil on Hades last time I checked and with a good LS of 30+ people all participateing you have a good chance of getting a couple of them.

Nobody does garrison anymore. This is what ya do. Listen to theblackdragon. Or lvl THF (you need it for SJ anyway) And farm. But on a different note. You dont need okote, or 2 woodsmen. All you need is Federation Tekko. 1 Woodsmen and 1 venerer[sp]. Hauby is nice but i dont have and i probably wont but i stil kick out nice damage and im a taru sam. But yeah do the crafting thing and you will b set. lvl thf and farm what materials u can and your set.
