i like the second one a lot, i can imagine it used for an alcohol add-you know where the product looks all looks so shiney and appealing. i like subtle grain of the bottle too, the focus is nice.

The Magic Hate Ball II i like the second one a lot, i can imagine it used for an alcohol add-you know where the product looks all looks so shiney and appealing. i like subtle grain of the bottle too, the focus is nice. it sort of reminded me of a sports drink ad. i think atheletes should compete drunk, it would be funnier.

That guy chugging the wine is a fabulous picture. Definately something about it instantly goes "wow" for me.

First image is just very.. bland. It's well taken, in good focus, and has fine comp. Just nothing eye-catching about it for me. The color contrast isn't bad either. It just doesn't do enough for it.
Second image: Damn classy. Good color, excellent comp. Great job.
Third image: I like the lighting here, and it looks almost like a journalistic style piece. Even still, not terribly eye catching for me.
Fourth image: The composition here really bothers me. The background is very overexposed. (Not sure if this is my monitor or not. D: ) Also, on the upper left hand corner.. what I assume to be a sign looks like a floating black bar, that is very very distracting. Not the best photo from this series.
I'd say over all they have good things about them. But the second image is so strong compared to the rest that it completely outshines them.

Given where the fourth image was taken, i'm not sure there was a way to capture the backgroun without really under exposing the foreground. I can see what you mean however. I understand what you mean about certain image not really bein eye-catching. Well, i sort of know what you mean. I guess i just dont agree that all photography has to be like WOW ZAP. personally i like phtography of everyday scenes and everyday people. Not alot of ordinary life is very eyecatching, but it is narrative. creative differences, i guess.

I can completely understand about the fourth image. >.< Shooting in broad daylight from under shaded areas is a complete b***h. Also, I think that as simple narrative these are all very good photos. They are very slice of life. I have a thing for really loud photography, so yes. I guess creative differences. Good stuff reguardless. <3

I actually like the fourth one a lot. It looks very relaxed and natural. But I think I have to go with everyone else and say that the second one is probably the best, here. I also noticed that there's a lot of red and green used in these, and that's another thing I like about them because the complementary colors seem to balance each other out pretty well.

My favorite is the second - contrast, color saturation, hues, and how the guy is shadowed are all great. It looks like something you'd see for an ad!
