Longing for her...
CloudxAeris
Cloud sat in the church on a pew staring at the floor. Shuffling his feet against the floor he began to rock back and forth. His eyes swelled up with tears, trying to hold them back. He felt as though he has had all this pain bottled up inside him and he's finally letting it out. He then turned and layed on the pew with his face buried in his arm and began to cry harder. "Why, why did you have to leave me!" He wailed out.
Outside, Tifa presses her ear against the wooden door of the church, listing to his sorrows being washed out of him. She gently opens the door and stands there staring at Cloud. She then slowly walks over to him and kneels beside him. "Oh...Cloud..." she whispers sympathetically as she runs her fingers through his hair. She gently starts to stroke his hair and rub his back. Cloud slowly looks up at her with his eyes watering and flowing with tears. "Cloud...what is it?" She says with a look of worry. "I...I just miss her so much...it hurts so much." Cloud cries in a shaking voice. Tifa wiped the tears from his cheeks and sat next to him, putting her arm over his waist and rubbing his back. "I know Cloud, I know...But you know? She's still with you, in your heart, and she will never leave you...she will always be watching over you and guiding you. She'll always be with you, try to remember that. No one will ever truely leave you" Cloud looked at her and then sat up and wrapped his arms around Tifa, and she did the same. Cloud then kissed her on the neck and whispered "Tifa, thank you...for always being there for me, and never leaving me." "I would never leave you Cloud, remember... what I said?" Tifa said with confidence." "Yeah, I'll always remember."

It was cute, but I cant imagine Cloud crying like that. I didnt really get the idea from Cloud in the game that he really liked her THAT much. I mean... they really didnt know each other very well...
Either way, it was sweet, so I give it a 7/10, for a nice short fan-fic.
