Okay, get this... this is like.. the incomplete plotline I got from the dream I had
*Pulls out piece of paper for rememberance purposes...*
Okay, so there's this guy, right? and he starts having these really strange nightmares, yes?... and as the first few chapters progress, the become increasingly vivid... and as they become more and more vivid, his life becomes stranger and stranger in very strange ways... but only in that they're strange to us... to him, these things seem normal...
...anyway, something happens (yeah, incompleteness, I know..) where he finally reallizes that everything that's been happening to him recently was morbidly obsessively weird (excuse the double adjective... or... adverb... or whatever)
In a twist of events, he finds out that the nightmares he's been having are actually reality, and that what he thought was real... was really just a long-a** dream...
Upon reaching a small village in the woods (where most of his "nightmarish" encounters had occur'd) it becomes apparent that he is not in his proper time period, though he has no idea how he had been sent into the past.
As he lives within the village, attempting to find his place, words spread across the land, and his story is told and retold countless times... some stories say he's a prophet... others say he's a demon from another world... One day, a somewhat accurate version reaches the ears of a man whose main research lay within prophecy, and it's a story he's heard before... Many years before, that is...
...and so, he sets off to find this boy....
...and... uh... that's all I got so far... ...well, from the nightmare, I mean sweatdrop Now that I read it, it really sounds like crap... stressed
I actually have the last half of the thing planned out pretty intricately... though I can't really share that without giving some important background info on the rest... which has yet to be developed entirely... so.... yeah... sry, that's all I got

Galestream Crap yes, very much so especially considering I barely even got the jist of whatever plot was supposed to be there xp well, like I said... well, maybe I didn't say it.. but it's extremely complex... and in order to understand it fully, you'd have to know everything that I know... and while I'm not saying that I know more than you, I definitely know different sets of things than you do, and therefore, the understanding in this case comes easier for me... ...but of course, every onething comes easier for me razz wink

That's like this game I played for the PC, called "Black Mirror". You're the heir to Black Mirror Castle, and you go there to find out how your father died... It's in present time, but anyway, while you're there, more murders occur, and you (the main character) has dreams about these murders, and the next day, you see it, in person... the twist is, you were the one killing all the people. surprised It's a very good game, but probably not now, now that you know what happens. xd

I think it sounds cool! The more mystery the better. Like, keep the reader guessing as long as possible but plenty of clues that could go either way as far as what this reverse reality actually means in the big picture. Like, how he got to be that way, and how his "gift" manifests itself.
I had a dream awhile back that made a good story too. Not enough for a full novel probably, but maybe a film or short story... I think I burned it on CD somewhere.

I mean, I'm sure it could be a good story... if I write it correctly... ...but hey, where's Kim? she's the one that asked to see it... and then she never comes back? how lame! rolleyes stressed

I like the sound of it, though it sounds a bit complex to write... Meh, that's your problem not mine. (The reader's) mrgreen
I'm sure you'll write it "correctly." heart

Kim the Amazon LolsorryShawny. I like the sound of it, though it sounds a bit complex to write... Meh, that's your problem not mine. (The reader's) mrgreen I'm sure you'll write it "correctly." heart Well, as long as it's not too complex to read, ya know? ...I wouldn't say it was a problem... or that it will be... I mean, I couldn't see myself writing something that was totally not complex at all... that would be too boring, yes?
