August 7th 2006,

Remind me never to go out at night ever again. It seems everytime I do I come back with a child. First Ren, then Drac, and now Cielra. I mean I love all my girls, don't get me wrong. But I spent most my time already taking care of them. Anyways that beside the point, I was on my way home from the party when I stumbled upon a building by the name of 'The Fourth Wall'. Seeing as I wasn't really in any shape to walk home just yet I slipped into the building just to realx for a few minutes.

That was my big mistake right there, it seem the moment I went into the shop I was choosen for a child. I was just sitting there catching my breath as well as letting the world balance out. That was when I lady by the name of Karma walked up to me. At first I think she was debating if she wanted to hand the child over to me as I was half drunk. But when the baby in her arms started squirming she handed her over to me. She told me the kitten in my arms was mine and I had to take care of her.

I would have turned her down, told her I wasn't the person she was looking for. But then I heard the kitten purring as she moved closer even in my arms. Why did she have to go and do that? It made me melt and remember how much I missed having little ones around.

Ren and Drac have grown and are really never around anymore as they have there own lives. Diana just turned eightteen starting her senior year of school. So all three of my girls don't really need me as much now.

So there I am just looking as this child, and all I can think about is what to name her. It took me a bit but I decided on the name Cielra, its drow and mean Mysterious. Because in my mind that what this whole thing is, I don't understand how I'm getting link to these children of mine. But I wouldn't change it for the world.

So now there is a new child in this home, and I love it. Next thing is having to tell Lucien. I'm not all that sure how he will take it. It would mean having to share me.

That pretty much it for now. I'm gonna get some sleep, its been a long eventful night.

Aylana

Aylana laughs popping one eye open to watch them both, she didn't speak. She just watch them very glad that they seem to be getting along, she was scared that Cielra wouldn't take to well to Lucien when they first met. Glad that they were she lets out a grateful sigh running her finger very carefully over Lucien's bare stomach. She wanted to make sure she didn't cause him to laugh.

Cielra's ears twitch a few times before she sniffs at the necklace. So another was suppose to come out that? Maybe they would be friends? Mewing she rubs her nose against the necklace purring as if she was trying to get the being to come out now.

Lucien's stomach muscles tightened a little bit, tremmbling under the touch as if he were trying not to let it cause him to laugh or jump. He didn't want to startled the kitten since she seemed quite intent upon what she was doing.

Nova's crystal glittered silently in response. Lucien felt a little bad that the angel couldn't pop out at Cielra's request to play, "She will come out in time." He assured her. Not exactly sure how long a time that was just knew what little he learned from the one who seemed to be in charge, the Scary Lady.

Aylana smiles watching them for a moment, it look like something from a dream. A good one that seem to happen only in fairy tales after dark times. Shaking her head she pulls her hand away from Lucien' stomach as she climbed out of bed "I'm gonna go check on the mail. Mind watching her for a moment?" turning she grabs her robe pulling it on. Climbing out of bed she winks to him then heads out of the room.

Cielra only looks away for a mment to watch her mother leave the room. Turning she looks back at Lucien mewing as she pats the crystal with her small paw. Her tail moving behind her as she pats the crystal yet again. A very curious kitten she is.

Lucien looked down at Cierla and then gave a nod of his head, "Yeah, I can watch her." He said, smiling. This would be a good chance to see what it was like to take care of a little girl, to do the Father thing. He lifted his gaze for a moment though to watch Aylana as she headed out before his gaze returned to the little one, "You gave a very good Mom, your a lucky little girl."

He then smiled some, "I wonder if Nova can hear anything in there." He murmured, he wondered if the angel could hear the kitten talking or know that she was there, wanting to play. It was something he would have to ask the 'Scary Lady' if he ran across her again before Nova arrived. The question was plaguing him as it kept appearing in his mind, kept him repeatedly asking it of himself and he lacked the answer.

Cielra mews then turns her head placing her ear on the crystal. She was trying to listen for any sign that something was indeed within the crystal. When she hears nothing she wrinkles her nose up before plopping back down in Lucien's lap. She wanted to play and didn't like she couldn't get this child to come out.

Aylana steps back intot he room resting her body against the doorframe as she looked at a invitation card. Her finger was running lightly over the embossed swirling leaf design. Looking up she smiles reading it outloud as she walked back towards the bed "You are cordially invited to attend the Third Annual Fa'e Prom Event, "Flights of Fancy". Please join us this year at Serafina Manor, home of the esteemed best-selling author N. Devan, on August tenth at seven p.m. for a three-day gala event. Fancy or costume dress is requested, though not required. We look forward to your presence."

Looking up as she took a seat she smiles "I can't believe it, how did they pull it off this year? This is a famous writer and were going to be in her home." looking back down she bites her bottom lip "This means I have to head back to Greece tonight." she looks up frowning alittle as she runs her finger over Cielra's nose causing the kitten to giggle.

"Nothing huh?" He asked of Cierla, "It is hard to believe that someone is in here." He laid a hand on the stone, "But it is warm and it feels alive." At least that was what he thought, it was warm when he found it so he didn't think that it was that was just cause he was wearing it.

Lucien lifted his gaze to Aylana as she sarted to read something off to them, tilting his head to the side as he heard the details of the prom that were written down on the card that she was holding. He then blinked a couple times looking a bit confused as she said, "Who?" He finally asked, realizing that he didn't know who the name that she had read off. 'N. Devon' wasn't someone that he'd ever heard of before. Maybe his mother knew the name?

"Going to go and get that gown you were talking about?" He asked, prom... wait... he suddenly realized something, that meant that he was going to have to find something nice to wear too. He would have to go out and do that tonight, hopefully he would find something both nice that would also tie in with the theme.

Leaning forward she picks up Cielra runing her fingers lightly over the soft fur on the kitten's back "N. Devon is famous writer that lives in Durem. It was the second biggest building next to the Von Helson Manor. But when that was destroyed it left the Serafina Manor the most biggest Manor there. Everyone wanted to just get a peek into this Manor to know all about what goes inside the mind on the writer." pausing she nods looking down "Yea and get ready for prom, this mean I will have to meet you there you know that right?" looking back up she gives him a small smile. She wanted to walk into the manor with him, but she didn' know how she would do that.

Cielr mews then wrinkles her nose when she was picked up, she looks up at her mother not liking at all that she was pulled away. That soon changed though when her feels the fingers running though her fur. Purring she lays her head on her mothers chest, although her eyes enver left the crystal. She wanted to know aboiut it and why it was so special.

He nodded his head, "Ahhh, a writer." He murmured, that was kinda cool. He didn't really sit down and read alot aside from those books that Silver had lent to him, those he'd enjoyed. Kinda made him curious about N. Devon since they were gonna be lucky enough to see the inside of her place. He found himself a bit excited about seeing a place that people were so curious to see.

His tail started to lash a bit, "Sounds like it could be fun." When Cierla was taken from his lap he slid out of bed, borrowing the sheet to used as a wrap around his waist while he fetch his things, slipping into the bathroom. He halfclosed the door while he dressed so he could talk to her, "Meet you there?" There was a pause as he thought on that, "Alright. I am sure I could find you." He came out of the bathroom in his pants, sheet gathered under his arm, "Won't be to hard to find the most beautiful one that will be there after all."

Allowing Cielra to slip out of her arms she watches as she crawls around the bed for a moment before laying in between the pillows. Leaning down she wrinkles her nose at the kitten who bats at her cheek lightly with her paw.

Blushing she looks up shaking her head "Me the most beautiful? I highly doubt that. Nyoka if anything will be bell of the ball, or even Sati. But if anything yea you will be able to find me. After all I do believe I'm the only one with blue skin." resting her elbow on her pillow she watches him for a moment before she looks away. "Hey Lucien, um...thanks for taking me. This is the first time ever I've had date to the prom."

He walked over and took hold of the two bottom corners of the blanket and shook it out before giving it a flick so that it lifted up into the air and slowly settled down across the bed over Cierla, then pulled it down so that it retreated off of her and he smiled at the kitten, his attention then went to Aylana, "Ok, then the most one beautiful in my eyes." He told her matter-of-factly, "And I should thank you too, for breaking your tradition that you spoke of so that I could take you."

He was quite lucky to get such a lovely date, or at least that was what he thought, "I can't wait, will be fun." And he was dying to see the gown she had mentioned and her all done up in it.

Smiling she shakes her head then looks down "You have a way with words Lucien. And your very welcome, just don't get to disappointed when I'm not the bell of the ball." smirking she looks down at Cielra holding her fingers above her alittle wiggling them.

Cielra mews then like any normal kitten she reaches out for them trying to bat at them with her small paws. When she doesn't reach them she turns onto her stomach before sitting up. Reaching out yet again she grabs ahold of one finger bringing it to her mouth biting at it with her small teeth.

Aylana laughs pulling her finger away as she leans down kissing Cielra's forehead "I'm gonna have to call up Drac and ask if she can babysit. I think she'll be thrilled so long as she doesn't have a date."

He smiled as he watched Aylana and Cielra, the pair of them something to watch. He gave a little laugh when the little kitten nibbled on her mother's fingers, "She has a good idea there." He mused aloud to himself as he walked over to scoop up his shirt from the floor. He debated putting it on before instead tossing it over to sit with his boots.

"So how long before you go to Greece?" He asked, wondering how much time they had together today.

Aylana smiles shaking her head "I won't be going until later tonight. So no worries on that alright?" she tilts her head for a moment though slightly curious "And why does Cielra have a good idea." for once she was lost and didn't know Lucien was talking about the nibbling.

Cielra yawns alittle then mews holding her small arms out towards her mother. Aylana looked down then picked up the kitten holding her close to her body. Petting the kittens back she shakes her head "I might have to put her down for a nap soon."

"Good, good." He said, that meant that they would have time together today before she headed out, that made him happy. The more the better in his mind. He glanced over at Aylana at her question and couldn't help but just smiled brightly, not giving an answer for what he'd been talking about.

He reached over to ruffle Cielra's soft, fluffy hair, "Do little ones sleep a lot?" He asked, curious.

Aylana shook her head as she sat up, she truely was confused this time. Lookign down she picks up Cielra watching the little kitten yawn again "Yea she needs a nap. I'm gonna go place her in her crib okay?" leaning over she kisses his cheek before she stood heading out of the room once more to the room where her girls slept when they came home.

Lucien gave a little nod, watching the two of them heading out of the room. He sat down on the edge of the bed, undoing the tie at the end of his hair with his fingers. He ran his fingers through his hair, working on getting the knots out of his two colored tresses. Pulling it over his shoulder he retied the ribbon half way down to keep it at least out of the way and tied to keep from being wild.

He then went to fetch his shirt to pull that on, catching the collar with his teeth so that he could do the snaps at his shoulder of his claw arm. He stomped into his boots and headed out of the room, going to wait for Aylana. He was gonna go and fetch them breakfast while Cierla was resting, he just needed to know what Aylana wanted.

Laying Cielra in her crib Aylana smiles poking the little kitten in the nose "Mommy will be in the other room. You just sleep and I will come to you if you need me." leaning down she brushes a simple yet tender kiss over the young one forehead. Standing back up she watches the kittne for a moment until she see the yellow eyes disappear under her eyelids.

With a smile she turns running her fingers though her hair as she slipped out of the room. Closing the door carefully she leans against the door shaking her head "Its scary how well I fell back into this mother routine." looking up her eyes following Lucien for a moment. What had surprise her was how well Lucien was able to handle the little kitten himself.

"You are a really good mother, its seems like one of those skills that don't vanish, huh?" He said, then turned to her smiling from what he'd seen of Ren and Drac she did well by her babies, "She's a little cutie."

"I was gonna run out and grab something for us for breakfast, anything in specific that you want?" He asked, "And is there anything that I can get for Cielra?" The girl was little but maybe there was still something she could have at her age?

Aylana blushes shaking her head for a moment "Yea it seems the mother in me will always be there." with a slight shrug she pushes off the door strolling towards him. Wrapping her arms around his waist when she reaches him she tilts her head up to look at him "Just coffee for me, I'm actually saving room for all the greek food once I get back to Greece." she licks her lips for a moment just thinking about it.

Looking away for a moment she bites a her bottom lip trying to remember what she fed Ren at this young age. Laughing she pulls him closer just out of habit "Think you could get her some kitten formula? I can't put her of normal milk just yet. And then whatever you wish to get her afterwards."

He looked a bit curious then nodded, "Sounds goods. bring me back some sometime?" He asked, jokingly. He always got so curious about Greece, more and more when part of it was mentioned, he meant to go one of these days. He then leaned over to kiss her lips, "Coffee and Kitten Formula, that I can do. I will be back shortly."

He gave a wave as he headed out the door quickly.

Lucien returned a short while later with a bag hanging on off the hook of his tail and a syrofoam cup of hot coffee in his hand. He lifted his claw to tap it against the door as he wasn't sure if he would be able to get the knob with his claw and open it. He had before but there was the risk of him accidently crushing it. He would rather not owe someone a doorknob again, "I'm back." He called through the door to her.

Aylana was sitting on the couch typing on her laptop when she had heard the voice. Turning her head towards the door her eyes narrow alittle as she watches the doorknob. With a simple nod the door unlock slowly opening to allow Lucien back into the apartment "That didn't take you all that long." closing her laptop she places in back onto the coffee table.

She had change into a simple pair of white terry cloth shorts and a purple halter top. It seem better then walkign around in her robe all day.

He stepped in and brought the coffee to her, holding it out, "Figured if I hurried it would still be hot for you when I got back." He brought his tail around with the bag and looked down into it, "There were... a few kinds of kitty formula. So I got some of each." He didn't know which kind was the good kind, which kind that Aylana would buy, so he'd done it the easy way. His breakfast was also in the bag, a sandwich wrapped in plastic wrap and a bottle of water.

His eyes ran over her form a moment and he smiled, "I like." He told her, motioning to what she was wearing.

Aylana turns glaring at him for a moment before she laughs "Yes were ready to go. And you better hope that Cielra stays close to you while at the park." with a very devilish smile she slips away from him only to grab the bag. Turning bag she holds her hands out to Cielra "Want mommie to carry you to the park?"

Cielra eyes Lucien for a moment before looking back at her mother. With a mew she reaches out towards her her fingers making grabby hands towards Aylana.

Lucien stepped closer to Aylana and wrapped his tail around the kitten to transfer over to her mother more carefully then nodded, "I will do my best to keep a good watch on her while we go and play."

He wondered what all of the toys that she could go on at her size, she might need help with a lot of them. Guess they would have to go there and see what all they had before they decided on what all there was to do.

Aylana eyes widen slightly before her cheeks darken. She wasn't use to Lucien being the blunt one, she seem to be the one that always made him blush. Coughing alittle she takes Cielra into her arms then smiles "How about we go play at the park here at the apartment. It will be safe for her and its gated which is better?" she looks down at Cielra kissing the little one nose.

Her cheeks were burning and thanks to what Lucien had said her mind was now wandering.

Cierla giggles then smacks lightly at her mother's nose. Laying her head on Aylana's shoulder she closes her eyes as she kneads at the shirt alittle.

Aylana smirks then looks at Lucien, giving a small shake of her head she turns heading towards the door. She needed to cool off just for a moment before she started thinking again.

Lucien nodded, taking in her blush and a smile appeared on his lips wondering if maybe she was reading the thoughts that were on his mind again? Maybe.

"Sure that sounds like it would be a good idea." The fence would make it so that Cielra would be a lot safer since there would be less a chance of her being able to wander off or strangers wander in. As a part of the apartment it would no doubt a place that only those that lived here would be allowed too.

"Shall we?"

Aylana slips out of the door leaving the keys in the doorknob. She knew Lucien would grab them and shut the door. Heading towards the stairs she heads down them humming alittle.

It didn't take long for them to reach the park within the apartment complex. It was gated off and had swings, slide, jungle and a little sand box. Stepping up to the gated door she punches in the code then pops it open.

Cielra was already struggling to try and get out of her mother's arms. She saw the sand and that where she wanted to be. Aylana laughs as she steps into only to let the kitten down.

Cielra giggles as she moves as fast as her small legs can carry her. Once in the sandbox she forgot about everyone around her as she tosses the sand in the air. Laughing Aylana sets the bag on the nearest table then turns to Lucien "I think we don't have to worry about her. She in her glory it seems."

Lucien watched as Cielra started to toss the stand about in a excited sort of way and could barely keep himself from laughing as he watched, "So I see." He said, smiling as she played before looking over at Aylana. He would have to make an attempt at snagging a bucket and shovel from his brother's collection next time he came over. That way the kitten could make some sand castles to play in, he remembered making those when he went to the beach a long while back when he was little.

He moved to lean against the table, looking up at the sky and sheilded his eyes from the sun with his hand, "Its nice out." He said, not to hot today and a bit clouded over enough. A good sort of day, he lowered his hand then blinked as the first insect came towards him, a dragonfy, and landed on his hand flittering its wings.

"It starts." He muttered, ignoring it for now.

Aylana laughs watching the dragonfly before she lifts her hand as another land on the tip of her finger "Yes it does." lifting her hand to her hair she places the dragonfly off to the side in her hair. It doesn't try to fly away but it does move its wing every few minutes.

Moving she stands between his legs before leaning forward to brush her lips aginst his for a moment "You know your mind is gonna cause me to blush again." pulling back she turns for a moment to glance toward Cielra.

Cielra still off in her own little world seem to be building a small fort around herself. She seem rather skillful even as a baby with the sand. Mewing for a moment she ducks under a huge pile of sand as she continues to build.

He laughed, as he became a perch for them before turning his attentions to Cielra, grinning, "I wonder what she is building over there." If they weren't careful she was gonna burrow her way to freedom outside the gates he though, laughing at the mental image that created.

He looked over to Aylana a moment and then a smile spread over his lips, "Normally its the other way around and you have me blushing." He said, "Must be my lucky day." Since Aylana was pretty when she blushed.

Aylana glances over as she caught the image in Lucien's head "I don't think she'll do that. If anything she just making a fort." turning back she wrinkles her nose then pokes him on both sides "Your lucky that Cielra a few feet away. Otherwise I would be returning the favor as far as blushing."

Cielra pokes her head out a moment later mewing as she shakes the sand off her fur. Sitting there for a moment she tilts her head before making small paw prints in the sand.

Lucien gave a squeak as he was poked then his tail started to swish as she said that and he couldn't resist in that moment. He reached his arm over to her, wrapped it around his angel to pull her over and gave her a long kiss. Then he drew back, "Couldn't resist, you will have to forgive me." He murmured quietly.

Aylana blushes even worse then before as she brings her fingers up to her lips. Looking over at him she doesn't say anything. All she could do was nod. She didn't know how it happen but now he was causing her to blush. It surprised her more then anything.

Cielra rubs at her eyes alittle yawning before she lays down in the sand. With the fort she built around her it created enough warmth to make the little kitten sleepy.

He gave a little smile, taking in her blush then Lucien turned back to watching the kitten, his tail wagging, "Ahhh. I see. She was building herself a little nest in the sand." He murmured, that was so adorable, kinda like a little bird. He took a couple steps forward to get a better look at her little hidey-hole.

Aylana arches a brow then gets up following Lucien. Coming up to stand next to him she giggles then shakes her head "I think playing in the sand tired the little one out. Maybe I should take her back up to the apartment." rest a hand on Lucien's back she lays her head on his shoulder.

Cielra yawns again then mews as she curls up into a small ball of fur. Her little hide away seem to be a small alittle cave. She seem mostly hidden from prying eyes and with her fur color no one would have guessed a kitten was in the sand.

He nodded, "Yeah, she looks like she is ready for another nap." He murmured, babies seemed to sleep a lot didn't they he thought to himself, he wondered how long that lasted for. He shook himself to get the few insects that were sitting on him off, for the moment then looked over to Aylana.

"I should probably should head for home soon." He told her, "As much as I don't want too and would rather stay with you and Cielra."

Bending down Aylana lifts Cielra into her arms "Yea she is. I'm gonna have to take her back upstairs to sleep." turning she frowns alittle then looks down at the sand "Yea wouldn't want Rayne to get mad at you. I want you to stay you know that." looking up she bites at her bottom lip then smiles "I'll see you at prom right? So it won't be all that long." leaning up she brushes her lips against his for a few moment.

Pulling back she smiles alittle as she steps back "I'll let you go, before I do something silly like beg you to stay. I will see you soon Lucien." turning she slips pass him grabbing up the bag. Turning back she smiles mouthing 'I love you' to him.

With a wink she turns heading up the sidewalk back towards to complex.

He didn't want to go, wanted to just follow along after her and damn the consequences. As it was though he was pretty sure that he never told his mother where he was going, just wandered off with Aylana. While he was sure that his mother could put two and two together and figure out where it was that her son had wandered off too he would rather just get home. After all he had to try to keep himself out of any trouble that she might be tempted to throw his way and as it was he had to talk her into prom gear.

His tail flicked back and forth and he called out to Aylana as she headed off, "I will see you soon, love you!" Before he turned and headed for home before he could be tempted to stay.

It would take far to little to tempt him so best to go now.
