The Uchiha clan were one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be descended from the Hyuuga clan who possess the bloodline of the Byakugan eye. Because their clan possessed the Sharingan or "Wheel Eye," the Uchiha excelled at being able to read and fend off attackers. This made them prime candidates to help found the Konoha Military Police Corps. The organization itself would go on to incorporate the Uchiha fan symbol into their official logo.

Select few members of the Uchiha clan possess the ability to activate the bloodline Sharingan eye. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and see the tricks and movements required to be able to complete it. However the clan member can not copy techniques which are unique to another bloodline. It also gives one the ability to cast jutsu techniques only possible by possessing the eye.


The clan itself is known for their ties to fire. For a clan ninja to be seen as an adult, they must be able to utilize a Katon (Fire Element) jutsu such as Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Thus is the tie between the manipulation of fire and the mind of an Uchiha member.


Sharingan
The Sharingan has a total of 4 forms that leads to the full potential of the Bloodline, each having their own bonuses and effects as the following.

Sharingan Level 1
Ranked: D
Sharingan Level one required one D ranked mission to be acquired. Activating sharingan turns the hue of the eyes a crimson red while 1 single comas forms along the Iris.
Effects: Prediction of enemy movement begins increasing SPD+ 4 and ability to hit targets increased DEX+ 4
Needs 7 Chakra to activate

Sharingan Level 2
Ranked: C
Sharingan level two requires one C ranked mission.
Activating the level two form turns the eyes a crimson red while two swirling comas take sight in the Irsis.
Effects: Copying of movements can now be accomplished to make your own techniques, INT+ 3 While sight is increased making it even easier to see movement as well as hitting your target. SPD+ 6 DEX+ 6
Requires 5 Chakra to Activate

Sharingan Level 3
Ranked: A
Sharingan level 3 requires one A ranked mission.
Activating the level three form turns the eyes a crimson red while three swirling comas take sight in the Irsis.
Effects: Not only can you copy movements but Jutsu aswell, however Jutsu can only be learned during one fight, to keep certain jtusu it must be rewarded with the mission. Predicting movements is almost instant now and the ability to dodge is proficent. SPD+ 15 DEX+ 15 INT+ 10
Requires 3 Chakra to Activate.

Mangekyo
The Mangekyo sharingan is the next evolution of the Sharingan, in order to obtain it, it is told you must kill the closest person to you. The Mangekyo Sharingan carries devasting power and enables you to use the three ultimate jutsu of the Uchiha Clan.

Mangekyo Sharingan
Activating the Mangekyo Sharingan changes the eye completely, though still there is an Iris partially of it is covered in black and each of the three swirls are combined into one.

Effect: EyeSight is superious and the user is able to 90% of the time predict movements, Cast GenJutsu upon eye sight, and increase their dexterity. Ninjutsu is also turned into a speciality giving you the ability to use the three legendary Jutsu. SPD+ 20 Dex+ 30 INT: 25

Amaterasu
Type: Ninjutsu

Effect: Amaterasu, named for the Goddess of the Sun, is a Ninjutsu techinque which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to create a mysterious black fire. This powerful fire can then be used to cut through a strong barrier and is said to burn for 7 days and 7 nights. Because of the amount of chakra needed to use the technique, it can only be used on a very limited basis daily. Also because it requires Mangekyou to use, not many individuals know of or can wield the technique.

Tsukuyomi
Type: Doujutsu

Effect: Tsukuyomi, named for the God of the Moon, is a Doujutsu illusion technique which uses the Mangekyou (Kaleidoscope) ability of the Sharingan eye. This highly advanced technique can not be used extensively because of the toll it places on the user. To utilize the illusion, the clan member will look into the eyes of his opponent and cast a Genjutsu spell on them. The spell takes place in the mind of the one affected, while the jutsu is cast the one it was cast upon is at the total mercy of the clan member. The clan member has full control over space and time in the jutsu and can place the one affected through any hell they desire for any length desired. The technique itself only lasts for but a second in reality, but the one affected could have lasted through several days of pain. It is said only a natural born member of the Uchiha Clan can defeat it.

Mangekyou implosion technique

Effect: This doujutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which uses a form of the Mangekyou Sharingan eye to launch a long range attack. This technique may be a third Mangekyou skill in a trio named after mythological deities. The first is Amaterasu, next is Tsukuyomi and this may be Susanoo.

To begin Kakashi formed a handseal to change his normal three tomoe Sharingan into a new Mangekyou form. He then focused on an area of his target. The surrounding area then began to warp and collapse in on itself, quickly reducing the surround area to nothingness. The technique will thus essentially transport the focused area away to another location. The technique caused a huge strain on Kakashi, utilizing a great deal of chakra. He was able to use the technique twice in succession and then revert back to three tomoe, it is unknown how many times he could use it before total exertion.
