For type 2 right now, I think these are some of the best cards.
(not in this order)
jitte - what more do I have to say, when a card sees 3-4 offs in 6 out of the 8 top decks at worlds, you know its that damn good. its what keeps aggro alive in type 2 right now.
burning tree shaman - can help to stall a lot of games and makes your opp. think a little bit more when they have cards such as jitte on the board.
sakura-tribe elder - one of the best cards today. should really have been a rare, because it is so damn ******** good.
meloku the clouded mirror- one of the best creature cards in the format at the moment. what makes blue so damn good.
cruel edict - can hit every creature, from kodama to birds, nothing is out of its reach.
cranial extraction - way to get that one card that annoys you out of the game, so good.
devouring light - stops kokusho's little ability, and so many other creatures on top off that.
faith's fetter - gain life and shuts down everything but basic lands.
supersion field(sp) - also good. helps to slow down an opp. who has things with activated abilities. makes you have to pay 2 just to remove one counter from jitte.

Debtors' Knell is one of the best in Guildpact. Same with Shadow Lance.

4.Kokusho, the Evening Star

Lord Yawgmoth After Guildpact Move everything down two (kicking cranial and tribe elder off the list sadly) and make number 10 Burning Tree shaman and number 9 Rumbling Slum. Rumbling slum, the most ridiculous beatstick since Ravager, Colossus and Sundering Titan i don't see how the Slum made it past design without someone saying, hey..isn't this somewhat like the Moroii? only...broken?

Kodama of the North Tree 4. Persecute 3. Kodama's Reach (so ******** under rated) 2. Wrath of God 1. Umezawa's Jitte Wrath of God is not a "powerhouse" and neither is the top. Wrath is only good agaist creature based deck an only agaist control. You only wrath the board when he has a permanent that depends on a creature or a creature that is between you and death. it's a good card, but not a power house. top is over rated, true it gives you the advantage of letting you draw what yo need but thats it'. you waste time and mana on fixing your next draw so you don't get a land.

for the new guildpact i still think the Djinn Illuminatus is amaseing! it has all the strength of the neew storm!

and gelectrode show much promice as far as a "super timmy" goes. too bad he cant take worth nuts worth of damage...

I guess I'll have to say it, Niv-Mizzet is, in my opinion, the greatest card of all time! Well, until the next set comes out anyway -wink-
