Kenshin's name was Shinta, but then Hiko changed it to Kenshin because Shinta was too gentle for a swordsmen. Since they probably didn't have a legal process for changing names back then, Kenshin's "real" name is actually Kenshin.

Shinta is his real name, Hiko just chaged it because he said it was a childs name. Kenshin is sexxier anyway

Shinta is his real name. Innocent, child like. Master Hiko Seijuro just replaced it with a more masculine name, Kenshin.
That soft name of Shinta clearly would not fit a Battousai.

Miwaslover Shinta is the name that his adopted parents gave him. We never really know Kenshin's true name. They were his adopted parents?

Shinta is Kenshin's real name, but his name was changed to himura kenshin by his master

his real name is Shinta but his master give him kenshin cuz he said his last name was not a samurai names so he changed it
