[Beginnings || An Adventure Log]
Story: ChibiPoet is beginning her new life. After 22 years of school, part-time jobs, and stress she decided to sell everything that didn't fit neatly into her travel pack and set out on the adventure her parents had always denied her. Armed with only a dream and a college degree she heads off for excitement. This adventure takes place along a generic path in a wooded area of Citrus Island.
General Info: This will mostly be in Role Play format with ChibiPoet's journal entries when/if things get slow around here. It starts at ------- and will stretch on most likely until I'm able to buy a pokémon. If that comes too soon I may find a different stopping point for a new thread (because I dislike threads that get too long).
Who can join: Anyone who is a member of the Guild. You do not need to be a trainer. Please try to keep with the premise of the thread and have some sort of reason to be here.

((Italics of course is pokemon talk to me :3 She'd just understand it as versions of Eeee and veee and such ^ ^; ))
-An intimidating growl rumbled from the tree line, and after a moments rustling, a rather large pidgey burst from the foliage, pursued must to it's dismay, with a snap and yelp by a darkly hued eevee. Growling again he lunged after the bird in his little game of chase, calling out with a tone laced in cruel teasing. Come back feather duster, I just wanna play!
Catching the avian pokemon in a hard tackle, his ears suddenly perked, eyes turning to glance at the human woman not far away. Pinning the wings of the pidgey, who of course tried to flap and peck to wriggle it's way free, Hadrian narrowed his eyes at the woman curiously.- "Veee..."

"Oh my good gracious Hadrian, stop it!"
-The very feminine peal of concern lifted from the tree line as well, as the young girl pushed her way through with a huff. Barely over 16, she looked delicate and fragile with the whisps of hair tugged this way and that out of place, but it didn't stop her as she tromped forward towards the eevee, scolding him softly, a sound that was mimiced by the dratini that follow after the girl.- "No no no, you'll actually hurt him sweetie. And why? For no reason at all." [Not nice to hurt other pokemon Hadriannnnnnnn!]
-Looking from the pidgey, to the young girl, to the older women, and then finally with a bit of a glare to the dratini his ears began to droop with frustration. [I was just having fun...] After a long moment's hesitation he finally backed away from the other pokemon with a look of irritation. Better just back down now then have to listen to another sugary sweet lecture on being nice and happy and perfect and sparkley wonderful.-
-As soon as the eevee had backed away however, the girl was down, holding the pidgey herself as she checked the bird frantically for how badly it was hurt, horrifying it nearly as much as Hadrian had.-
-Despite her trainer's rudeness towards the other woman, the dratini called curiously and softly towards the stranger, leaving behind the fuss going on to near the woman with gentle anticipation.-

-The outstreched hand seemed invitation enough, and the young dratini quickly approached, snaking it's way quickly around the woman's legs in something remincent of a hug, before it coo'd another sweet call. Girls were nice, not like mean old Hadrian, and she looked nice too, maybe she had some treats even?-
-As the pidgey finally wiggled from the girls hands, and escaped in a flash of relief, Iris' eyes turned to the sounds Nymph was making, finally noticing the older woman. Looking suddenly solemn, she bowed her shoulders in apology.- "Ohh! I didn't even notice you there.. You must think I'm so very rude, sorry about that. Have you been there long?"

Poet actually giggled, it had been a while since that happened. She watched the Dratini, adding, "Well it's nice to meet you too." Catching the other girl's words she smiled and shok her head. "No, I haven't been here long. You seemed preocupied anyway." She took a few steps forward with hand extended. I'm called Poet,"" she said, her full name rather... odd. But her parents were rather odd.
She felt a slight flutter of emberasment, not at all the younger girls fault. Poet simply felt strange to be starting pokémon at an age where most Trainers were considering Gym placement or perhaps retirement if they'd reached their dreams already. So many Trainers started young, she would be the "old woman" among them at only 22!

((Sorry for the delay sweetie. THe last two days have sucked th creativity from my blood @-@ ))
-Giving another affectionate little nuzzle against Poet's leg, Nymph finally left the women, returning to Iris, imediately and happily cuddling into the young trainers arms.-
-Giving the Dratini a little rock, she nodded happily, offering a free hand out.- "Nice to meet you Poet. I'm Iris, and this is Nymph and Hadrian." -She pointed gently to each as their name was called, gaining a happy coo from the dratini, and a snide smirk from the eevee.-
"Are you a trainer too?"

[No problem, I just finished finals week so I haven't been too creative either. Actually, I was wondering if you had ideas for how to introduce Cauchy to the thread. I had one but I think it's a bit strange.
I was thinking on finding some random house with an elderly woman. Somehow a black/green Pidgey got trapped in an upstairs room for a long while with only a bunch of books as company. So now he's a bit of a recluse and a book worm... I don't know where I came up with that idea...]]
Though sad to see the Dratini go she was glad to know them now. Poet couldn't help but smile though at the Eevee's smirk, must be quite the handful.
"Not yet," she said with a bit of longing now that she watched the two poke'mon. "I've gotten lost in my first few days here and haven't seen hair nor fur of a poke'mon since." She shrugged. "Not that I could catch one just yet, I haven't even seen a town or market." She felt a bit foolish at this, but directions had never been her strong suit. A good Nosepas could keep her right, but she hadn't seen any yet.
