"No," she said, burying her face in her arms, the dark green hair falling around her to hide her face. "Don' wanna leave 'evi alone..."
Still, there was a rationality in Anen's words that she couldn't quite just dismiss. They DID have to go... even if Devi stayed here for a while. She frowned as she sat up again, looking at the blue-haired boy that was still unconscious on the ground. That was when a bit of inspiration hit her. "Omi leave som'fin..." she whispered, reaching up to try and unclasp the necklace she wore at her throat. The silver chain was simple, the pendant a resin charm that had a tiny purple lotus flower immortalized in the clear 'pebble'. Her tiny fingers couldn't quite manage it though, and she looked up to Anen pleadingly. "Help?" she asked, pointing to the necklace, then to Devmani's throat.
"If 'evi see dis... he know we came."

"We'll take him home, then," Anen said, both to the presence and to Nozomi. "We don't have to leave him alone, that way." He helped Omi with the necklace, fingers deft on the small clasp. "He'll still like to know that you helped, though."
He paused a moment to consider the best way to do this, then gathered Devi up carefully, quietly thankful that the younger boy was in his human form right now. "Time to go home, she says. Omi, will you lead the way back out?"

Devi didn't make a sound when lifted. There was a small mark on his forehead, as if someone wearing silver lipstick had kissed him. The mark faded away almost as soon as it was noticed.
Strangely when Omi's gift was placed around his neck his mouth twitched in a small smile as he didn't wake. Apparently the things running through his mind were pleasant and Omi and Anen had only made them sweeter for a breif moment.

While Omi knew the way out, she wasn't about to leave Devmani's side. One hand reached up, taking his and walking along with them as they left the circle. "Bag," she said, pointing to the satchel that was hanging from the tree branch nearby. She reached up and lifted it carefully, frowning when it bumped against the ground at her side. "Bag too big," she muttered, trying to figure out some way to carry it OFF the ground without letting go of the centaur.

"Here, I have an extra hand," Anen said, and took the pack, slinging it over his shoulder. He let the sense of the place show them the way out, tracing their steps back through the grove. Leaving was almost bittersweet. There had been a sense of familiarity about the place that tugged at his mind and heart.

Devi's hand curled a bit around Omi's in reflex. He must have been having good dreams.
There was a sense of someone or something watching them as they left, vigilant eyes of the keeper of the strange circle.

Omi paused as they left the circle, waving to it like she'd waved to Gaia when she and Anen had taken off. "Byeeeeee..." she said softly, then padded alongside Anen as they took Devmani away towards home.

"Goodbye," Anen echoed, and glanced back one last time before they were gone. "Time to go home."

"You may return with him if you'd like. Thank you."
There was a proud figure in the middle of the circle. A silver-bright stag with antlers that seemed almost as big as he was. Bowing it's elegant head in farewell it trumpeted once and was gone.
