Welcome to Avatar Survival Contest 5.5. As stated on the homepage, Avatar Survival Contest (ASC for short) is a month long, single elimination Avatar Contest that is loosely based on the hit reality TV show Survivor.

Please take a minute to read up on the rules of the guild.

How ASC Began____________________

__... One night I was watching the reality TV show Survivor and thought "Hey, that would be a pretty sweet idea for GAIA.". After a couple days of planning I opened up my first ASC which lasted only a week. I figured I would start small and see how it all worked out and what needed fixing.

About a month later I started my first full length ASC with the help of user Peenut (Now going by the user name Percolated). There was alot of drama and stress and times that I wanted to give up but she always pushed me along and we got through it alright.

A couple ASC's later brought us to 5.0 which started smooth but had to be cancelled before it started due to my going out of the country for work. It's been quite some time and my life has settled down enough that I have time to pull this off.

Since 5.0 was cancelled before it started we moved to 5.5 and that brings us to 6.0

Promote ASC!____________________

__...We need your help to get out the word of ASC! It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could toss an image in their sig. This way the contest can reach every forum and all of GAIA. The more it gets promoted and the interest that is generated, the more likely there is going to be another ASC in the future.
